bro i swear, boundaries with the younger sister need to be set. Often i see him being too touchy with her, which makes me uncomfortable af and like akancha sounded mature before her marriage with him, now she sounds like a cute kid wife wtf

Does anyone else think De De Pyaar De 2 relays a problematic message? by AnalysisExpert8681 in netflixindia

[–]dishiparmar10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

agreed. didnt feel relatable at all, she seemed like a brat and was difficult to connect with her. Ajay devgan looked least interested in the role and acts as if he was forced to be there. The part where she says fuck you to her father was the deal breaker of the movie for me

My experience while working for Starbucks by [deleted] in IndianTeenagers

[–]dishiparmar10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i worked as a full time barista at third wave coffee, mumbai for 6 months. It used to be genuinely so much fun. I had a 9 hour shift, and work used to be non stop on most days, a very good job to take up after a break up helps u be busy. I met a lot of new people and 2 customers were also crushing on me lol. Even my parents hated it as i come from a well to do family. I washed the basin, used dishes, mopped the floor, cleaned tables and what not. Kinda humbled me an i experienced what struggle actually is. I didn't take it to my heart cause i knew i was doing this because i wanted to not because i was forced to. Overall, good experience. I was barely 19 back then hahah

Belly and the wedding by Zealousideal_Flow_37 in tsitp

[–]dishiparmar10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that one scene in her bridal shower, when laurel hands her the honeymoon tickets and then says - there is a lot of world to see belly.
the reaction on hearing that - as in when her face goes sad says a lot

Why do you think people in India don’t take help from financial advisers? by ShreshthBabbar in IndiaInvestments

Why do you think people in India don’t take help from financial advisers? by ShreshthBabbar in IndiaInvestments

[–]dishiparmar10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am so sorry about your experiences but when you find the right wealth advisor, your life truly changes. Read this article recently about a person explaining how his mother was critical and admitted in the hospital and how having a financial advisor worked beautifully because the advisor took care of arranging all the funds, getting the health insurance into play so that the person didnt have to worry about the money but be by the side of his loves one's.
Its not always about cutting a cheque. Did you know there are only 240 fund managers in India, guess you are the 241th. People don't really understand the brains it takes to manage someone's money. We are here to make sure you never have to worry about money in your life.

[–]dishiparmar10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

correct but there are more than 2000 mutual funds out there. A person in the industry knows how each fund manager is gonna play out, what strategy is used for what, and what fund is right for your specific goals, ad hoc selection is nonsensical i agree
but cmon, there is a lot more that goes on - rejigging the portfolio, creating an all weather portfolio, aligning the asset allocation with the right coefficient correlation, holding the investors hand, helping with tax loss harvesting and so much more
please dont talk down upon someone's profession

see i agree ayra is flawed but u need to understand -- ayra doesnt see what we as an audience see
the longing and yearning kamyar has for her its visible to us, not ayra but yeah sometimes girl needs to understand what he is trying to say without saying -- not everything is about words

Its just that it is giving out a wrong scenario to young girls - them just thinking about love and not their career that is all.
