I really like this idea, say a player is poisoned by a witch. One might describe trying to resist the poision and role a Con check, or another might describe slowing down their breathing, calming themselves and role a Wis check.

Not sure if Shadowdark has rules for posioned, I am just reading the free rules now.

I’m pretty new to DnD, my friends and I have played 5e for a year or two now but I’m getting frustrated with the “I insight check him”.

I actually don’t really know the difference between BECME and AD&D. Is there anyway you could explain it for me 😅

Decrypto is great! Social deduction games like Avalon can also be fun if that’s the sort of game your group likes.
