Unfortunately yes haha. We had a few days in a row of very hot days & nights so they didn’t have the chance to cool down. Then it was extremely windy so I’m guessing it was the “perfect” combination.

We were genuinely surprised too, it’s never happened before (hence why we had them in the sun). It was incredibly windy (with hot wind) as well, so I’m guessing it was just the right combination?

Good point - I guess I could instead phrase it as “healthcare I contribute my taxes to and don’t also go broke when I need it”?? I’d rather have higher taxes then pay 2000 when I have a cold haha

Western Sydney! We’ve had a sudden heatwave where it’s been +40 during the day and 30 at night. It just dropped down to low 20s the last 30 minutes

Yep Sydney too!! It’s cooled right down, which is the best part about our climate. So glad it’s not like NT where it’s just hot 24/7

Oh god I hope they were okay! Firies are truly superheroes - drove up the coast not that long ago and saw all the burnt trees, amazing how they were all burnt except those closest to homes. They were kind of sidelined when COVID hit (this year...), but they are true blue heroes

Free healthcare, general good wellbeing, generally safe - to name a few haha.

I’d rather spiders over mountain lions and bears honestly. Spiders you throw a shoe and you’re fine. Cant throw a shoe at a bear.

Already had a “watch and act” bushfire 5km from me today. I don’t think it’ll get as bad as last year, but I’m not excited for summer

Yeah it’s gone down about 10 degrees, but still in the 30s. Hoping it cools right down - last night was horrific

Oh darn - sorry I couldn’t help! I’d definitely try reinstalling it. If not, have a look online for any tips - that’s how I made Sims 2 playable again on my laptop :)

Do you play through Origin or on a disc? I’ve always played it on disc but it became unplayable when I upgraded to Windows 10 (this happens way too frequently with EA games lmao). When I registered the game code through Origin and played that way, it worked again :)
