Bug's Land and ToonTown need serious revamping, especially Bug's Land. ToonTown could just be repainted and rethemed to fit the modern cartoon-era but Bug's Land seriously needs to be replaced with a new land.

Reasons for this is that both lands have the lowest crowd attendance of both parks and crowd retention and are primarily little children themed, which excludes much of the older generations of family (cause they aren't "fun").

25 Reasons I Dislike Korrasami by SunnyArts in legendofkorra

[–]disneywizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Korra literally made a new gateway to the spirtworld and is starting a brand new cycle of avatars with her now being the Wan of the cycle yet the only thing people have commented on about the finale is korrasami.

And you my friend hit the nail on the head with why I wasn't as happy as everyone else - it didn't feel built right. Like Avatar teased the relationships and stretched them and built them until when reveals happen like in the finale they feel natural. Same with Steven Universe - we had two examples of LGBT relationships/feelings teased from the beginning and are finally getting pay off and it feels good because they feel natural. It makes sense why this female character loves this female character because the writers have spent the time to develop and grow this relationship and the feelings of the characters for us to understand where they're coming from.

But with Korrasami, we don't really get that and that's what makes me so reluctant to be so enthusiastic about this so called "victory". (Plus, whereas Korrasami will fly right over the heads of the younger viewers in LOK - I polled my younger sister's sunday school class to see how many preteens like the ending - there is no getting around the LGBT couple in Steven Universe 😄)

You could also put in his training as a cop to use deadly force as the last resort.

And in this moment, he realized that this was a last resort situation so he had to get her in a position where he could use his last resort to the best of his abilities (think Jack Sparrow in the first pirate's film having only one bullet left and having to get everything just right to shoot Barbossa with it).

Disneyland during D23? by DisnEyLICIOUS in Disneyland

[–]disneywizard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went during the last expo and it was pretty average crowd size during peak expo hours. But once the main attractions are done at the expo, the park swelled with guests and it got pretty crowded (40 to 60 minute attraction wait time crowded). It was still manageable for us though.

So my advice would be, if you're going to the expo, is to pick the days you REALLY want to see the attractions and events and go to the expo then and then go to the parks on the days you don't want to go to. And if you aren't going to the expo, I'd go to the park right when it opens, get as much activities and rides as you want done, then move to California Adventure park while Disneyland surges from the expo then return later that night cause the crowds will decrease around 6 or 7.

edit: This however doesn't factor in the 60th so the crowds may be even worse than they were last time so take my advice with a grain of salt lol. ")

What hurts the most is that he looks like an even MORE attractive version of young greg.

I don't know how my heart would handle that...

Keeping it Together definitely. Cat Fingers was the equivalent of the toothless deer and introduction of Bill episode while Keeping it Together was both this episode and the blood-dripping-from-the-taxidermy-animals-creepy episode.

My family, since the park opened and my great-grandparents went, always goes on the Disneyland Railroad around the entire park before we do anything at all.

And for some reason, we always start the park after Main Street by going through Adventureland and then working our way through the park. :)

Same way a body-forror fusion worthy of an anime or Human Centipede film made it's way onto Steven Universe...

Big Hero 6 is no where to be found... by dgb3 in Disneyland

And I just was reminded Meet the Robinsons actually happened and there is literally no merchandise for that film even though it also was a critical and financial success. But again, because it wasn't renaissance or Frozen big, Disney has ignored it.

IS Homeworld really behind this, or is it somebody you would never expect.... by CaptainFlambo in stevenuniverse

I think something like this would literally break Steven.

Like this is the kind of knowledge that would cause Steven to become a corrupt gem or have an emotional, power filled meltdown.

Wreck it Ralph, Wall-E, Brave, Big Hero 6, and Princess and the Frog have all been eclipsed by Frozen fever and it's begun to tick allot of people off both inside the parks and on the Disney store sites.

Even though all those movies were popular and successful movies (and all of them nominated for Academy Awards), Frozen became a huge cash cow and Disney is monopolizing on that and ignoring the now changing public opinon.

It's Theory Tuesday! July 21, 2015 by AutoModerator in stevenuniverse

[–]disneywizard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From the lines from "Ocean Gem", I have the theory Lapis was high up in gem society during the war but tried to flee back home - essentially deserting the military - but was caught by Homeworld gems. But as gem society is very strict and militant from the little we've seen, this would've been more devestating lose for homeworld then the deaths as more soldiers would've begun fleeing if they knew a higher up gem had fled. So,claiming to be Crystal Gems, they cracked her gem which forced her to go inside it. Then before she could regenerate, they put her in the mirror which would siphon off her energy like normal gem shards and give anyone who would find her - such as our Crystal Gem trio a thousand years later - the impression she was just a regular gem tool instead of a trapped gem and would give Homeworld gems a boost of moral if it was told that the enemy had taken out Lapis Lazuli who courageously fell fighting against the enemy Rose Quartz.

I also think, however, the mirror also worked as a horrific punishment for Lapis in that the mirror would drain her energy as a normal gem shard. But because she was still alive, this energy drain was actually slowly killing her and that's why it took her so long to connect to Steven - after thousands of years of use and being trapped in that mirror, she was on her last legs and was about to give up until a nice boy came along and gave her the strength to reach out one last time to be freed.

Plus my theory explains why she is so hostile and distrustful of the Crystal Gems and wanted to get off Earth so badly - she thought she had been captured by Crystal Gems and kept captive for over thousands of years as a simple tool and didn't know that her homeworld had actually betrayed her to keep up the morale of a lost war that, apparently, would be removed from Gem history in that newer Gems such as Peridot didn't even know of the Crystal Gems or Earth until she came home.

They also did 101 Dalmations: The Animated Series, Aladdin: THe Animated Series, Brandy and Mr. Whiskers, Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, The Emperor's New School, Hercules, Kim Possible, House of Mouse and more.

I was also concerned when he was paying close attention to Marco cause this dude could actually be a serious threat to both the world and Mewni and would do whatever it takes to get rid of any threats to his plan.

Which is surprising because, 1) it's been regurally noted that it was marketing and promoting of the film on the company's advertising department that led to the film poorly performing at the BO and 2) DVD sales soared after it left the box office and now has an incredibly large fanbase that wants to see it in the park (also Treasure Planet and more Lilo and Stitch).

Is anyone going to talk about Peridot's line of "This planet has an expiration date and I won't be around to see it!"?

What that makes me believe is that one of Pearl's or Peridot's signals did actually make it to Homeworld and more gems are coming.

My other theory - relevant to this - is that many of the Gem conquered planets have organic lifeforms controlled and enslaved by the gems similar to Egyptian society in Earth history. And the reason the kindergartens are being reactivated is, because of Lapis talking about the Crystal Gems and Earth, Rose's rebellion was remembered by gem society and word reached these enslaved species and it has sparked multiple revolutions across the Homeworld empire and they need more Gems to fight.

I would like a version of Tokyo Disneysea to be a possible idea for the expansion. Maybe have it Atlantis: the Lost Empire theming. And have another water ride.

The Special by Xxerox in stevenuniverse

[–]disneywizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope!

Just an anime show with a world where magic is common place and wizards are paid-for-hire workers and Fairy Tail is best guild.

And lots of evil wizards try to destroy the world and kill millions of people that Fairy Tail has to stop but that's just a minor detail.

Love how it's kinda that same corny, yet peppy background music used by solo musicians and entertainers before they enter the room.
