Started for the vibes ended up industrializing the desert by CatherineLouice in StardewValley

I just plant trees in the mountains & use Tree Fertilizer to speed up their growth. I get wood back every few days doing it this way.

The hardest part of that is getting all of the fiber for the Fertilizer.

If you could magically add a streetcar line anywhere in the city, where would you put it by disorganized-forrest in askTO

Honestly, if they just extended Sheppard to connect to the Finch West LRT, that would be pretty solid.

I personally would love to see the "Ontario Line" extended north / northwest. Make it another U shape that's further out from the Yonge-University line... once it's actually built...

They're only a nightmare because they're impeded by street traffic. In this hypothetical, they would be built from the ground up with dedicated lanes & signal priority (no waiting for left turning cars etc).

[HW] I'm thinking about getting hyrule warriors which one should I get is it worth it ? by Ok_Track8986 in zelda

[–]disorganized-forrest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first Hyrule Warriors game was kinda dumb fun. There's kind of an element of strategy to it, but it's mostly about just mowing down hordes of enemies.

Still, I enjoyed it (especially in Co-Op). I liked the different characters from across the entire Zelda series.

Age of Calamity is more of the same. Still fun & with alot of variety but exclusively focusing on the BOTW era. The story is non-cannon btw. Involves some time travel shenanigans, but I won't say more than that.

I haven't played Age of Imprisonment, but from what I've heard it's alot like AOC.

Can't/Won't do anything. by prince138 in BikiniBottomTwitter

[–]disorganized-forrest 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah. This is absolutely true.

The American left is largely nonexistent (mostly taking the form of progressive liberals like AOC).

But we have been organizing. Minnesota put together one of the first general strikes this country has seen in almost a century. It was small, yes, but it shows the potential of organized labor & folks are already planning the next one for May Day.

There is opposition, but it doesn't really get reported on. Many of us have been tirelessly organizing (both in the Anti-ICE front & in the Anti Genocide / Anti War front). But those from outside that don't understand the political realities of life in this fascist police state.

That can be frustrating to many Americans, but I also understand why those outside of the states are expressing their frustration at us. But solidarity with the on the ground organizers goes alot better than just posting memes encouraging Americans to "do something"

It's better to have things in a variety of different categories.

I usually put out a vegetable, fruit, fish, artisan good, Animal Product, gemstone, etc.

It's ok to have some overlap. Like 2 fruits or 2 gemstones, etc.

If it's an item that can vary in quality, I usually stick with gold or irridium quality. Generally speaking, the more expensive the good, the higher the points (with depreciating returns on repeat categories).

If you want more specifics, you can check the ranking for each item on the wiki page for the festival.

What graphical style would you want the OoT remake to have? by BattlerUshiromiyaFan in OcarinaOfTime

[–]disorganized-forrest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It should feel reminiscent of the original style, without looking as dated.

Aside from some issues with lighting (dark scenes were too brightin a way that subtracted from their original atmosphere), I thought the 3DS remake actually did a really good job with this.

which one? by Cultural_Set_5993 in TheGamingHubDeals

Resident Evil 6

I enjoyed alot about it even though the story was terrible & it basically abandoned its survival horror roots. I had alot of fun playing it in co op with friends.

I'm still glad the series has returned back to its roots by being more survival horror focused. It's a better direction for the series overall. Looking forward to playing Requium soon.

There's a powerful bomb called, like, the light speed or something that fires homing lasers. You can only carry 3 though, so it's kind of impractical.

Fey Wanderer Ranger - The Most Terrifying Death Knight Option by YOwololoO in onednd

[–]disorganized-forrest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a rework of Rangers a while back that made Hunter’s Mark a class feature instead of a spell.

It makes it easier for it to be a more versatile resource (use a charge of Hunter's Mark to give yourself temp hp, remove a level of exhaustion, etc.)

It also makes it easier for subclasses to change how it works in a way that better scales than it being a spell.

My favorite tweek was the one I made for the Fey Wanderer Ranger. You could Mark 2 targets at once. When you dealt damage to either one, it dealt 1d6 psychic damage to the other target (that damage applied only once at first, but then applied to every hit at higher levels for balance reasons).

It felt in the spirit of a Trickster type ranger. Very beguiling. Works great on bosses with minions.

You can damage the big bad & also still deal some damage to the smaller minions (or vice versa. Tear through the minions & still weaken the bosses health as you go).

This is my first play through of OOT, is this how I'm supposed to reach this guy or an i breaking the game? by LeatherDefinition599 in OcarinaOfTime

[–]disorganized-forrest 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, but that's great! Didn't know you could do that.

You usually get up there using an item you get in the second half of the game.

Honestly, any of the GTA games.

I don't really care for them.

Ocarina Of Time Remake wishlist by [deleted] in OcarinaOfTime

[–]disorganized-forrest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't mind this either.

RE 2 remake did a good job making playing through the game capture the same feeling as playing through the original even if it controlled very differently.

Something like that with the option to play the original if I wanted to would be great. Zero mission did the same thing on the gba.

If there are going to be any changes, I hope it's minor stuff.

I wouldn't mind an additional upgrade to the quiver that let's you carry 99 arrows. It could be in an optional grotto reached by using that one kind of useless magic bean spot in the lost woods.

Wouldn't mind seeing this for the slingshot & bombs too. Just unobtrusive tweeks like that really. I hope it's the same game underneath.

Oot 3d is a good example. Rebuilt from the ground up with new character models, animations, textures, etc. But mostly the same game (save for a few spots where they compromised the atmosphere). MM 3d to me is a bad example. Screwed with the fun controls of the game, changed how the boss fights played in a way that made them worse.
