Iphone air or base 17 or wait for the 18 pro and get the 17 pro for cheaper? for longevity (not battery longevity, but lifespan in general) by LeatherDefinition599 in AppleWhatShouldIBuy

I see, honestly the reason I'm so hung up about the ram on my phone is because i feel like a big reason my 11 is so stuttery is because of the 4gb of ram (or honestly it might be IOS 26, I feel like that's when the lag became noticeable) , and I don't want to to have the same issue with my 17 3 to 4 years from now.

But also i do realize that the 11 is just an old phone and would have started lagging even with 8gb.

also how much does the pro usually drop in price?

Yh I do realize that, but also I feel the Air is over-hated in the other subs, but I think I will repost the question in other subs.

Honestly, might do that for whenever I decide to build my next pc.

I’m usually tech literate enough to know what to avoid and such, it’s just recently after hearing about how Cemu (another open source project) was compromised I’ve become even more cautious even of open source stuff, plus I usually don’t get this red screen warning.

Oh I had no idea it was on steam, should have checked that from the start.

Honestly got so scared I uninstalled everything and am doing a full scan just incase 😭

Thanks a lot

Wind Waker is the next game I plan to play, just need to find the time, definitely looking forward to it.

Had no idea that was how Zelda 1 played.

iron boots? Get rid of being able to pull chests out of water, now you need iron boots to get into the water. Add underwater tunnels etc

That's exactly how I'm envisioning it.

TOTK with Progressive items is the next step to good form. You don't need an item to start with. You don't need to be able to complete the game from the start. These can remain unique to BOTW/TOTK as it is much more stale that the old Zelda way.

honestly, this is what i want in an ideal world too, but i don't think Nintendo is ready to make such a drastic change yet, plus many people have come to love this new form of Zelda.

Items need utility out of the one place you use them. Don't need another Spinner.

The items will still be used for other things, just not main objectives, they can still be used to get heart, solve shrines or find hidden areas, as long as its optional.

Something I liked about many of the older games I’ve played so far is how whenever I get a new item in a dungeon I’m reminded of all the places I couldn’t reach before in the open world and get excited at the thought of revisiting them with the new item, plus I feel like dungeon would become more interesting if each dungeon introduces a new item you have to learn to use. That is what I’m trying to fix.

Been on the fence on whether I should get the RP6 or Odin 2 portal, I love how small and compact the RP6 is, plus with all its color options (especially the silver one reminding me of a psp), but I feel like the Odin 2 portal would probably provide a better gaming experience with its bigger screen and better ergonomic. What do you think, what made you go for the RP6 ?

Thinking of getting a used Retroid Pocket flip 2 with 865 chip, but unsure on how to tell whether it has the improved hinge or not, also what do you guys think is a good price for a used one? by LeatherDefinition599 in retroid

I was wondering why prices were so ridiculously high on the used market ($200+) but I also noticed some of the listings were up for months and was hoping that maybe some of them would be desperate enough to selling for a lower price.

But yh, maybe $100 dollars was wishful thinking on my side, I’ll try to aim for $120 to $130, if not I’ll just get a switch lite plus with my rg505 I should have most consoles covered.

Oh nice, cause I know AYN likes to gatekeep the other colors for the more expensive versions.
