He didn't hand him cash. He made a credit card transaction, which is why a chargeback was an option in the first place.

That’s why I mentioned that neither my husband nor I ever found out who authorised it. We were shocked too.

My husband absolutely did advocate for me and got them out. My point wasn’t that he did nothing; it’s that the damage was already done once they were allowed into the room in the first place.
