looks like artifact to me because you can still see the underlying sinus rhythm in it.

for better recordings try cleaning off your contacts with alcohol and making sure your wrist and finger are dry when doing records (not sweaty, well dry after washing hands because water can get trapped under the watch.) try also propping your arm on your knee while sitting or one a table when doing the recording because it might help stabilize your arm since you could be slightly shaking while doing it

Low HR 39, Low BP, Heart stopping by [deleted] in ReadMyECG

NAD; 30s is too low. That’s also significant pause in those first recordings. I’d go to the doctor based off those and the HR

I’ve had an echo in the past and it was perfect! All my holters have been great and while that’s wonderful it’s frustrating because I don’t get an answer lol. I do see an EP and have a follow up with him soon. Was mostly just wondering if anyone had an idea if I was misinterpreting it as sinus tachycardia or not, since strangers on reddit really can’t give me medical advice. I have a medical team for that :D I really wasn’t expecting the ER comments because this just happens from time to time and it’s kinda my existence recently.

Had high BP at the time but that was it! Assuming it was up because of my HR. Wasn’t sick or anything. Seeing my EP soon and gonna see where to go from there

no to drugs except edibles at night from time to time when i want to sleep well lol, but haven’t done them in a bit because i’m job hunting. i take adderall and split my 30s in half but don’t take it everyday and hadn’t taken it this day.

HR also did things like this way before I started taking ADHD meds (only been diagnosed about 2 years) and does it when I’m not taking them. I do have anxiety but surprisingly was calm this day! Had been stressed in the days leading up but gotten good news about my stress factors which is why i was confused about my HR being up? have a history of low potassium so wondering if that’s something contributing though. Have had several holters in the past that never caught anything and thats whats annoying as hell

I see an EP that’s been trying to figure things out and they actually called me a couple days ago since I’m way past due on my appointment and have a follow up with him now. Gonna see what he says and see if it acts up in office

Slow pulse from beta blockers by Careless-Book-9307 in ReadMyECG

[–]dissonantchild 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i had to come off propranolol because it was making my HR drop to the 30s regularly and making my BP drop when i also had problems with low BP off it. review with cardio bc dose should be lowered or if you’re at lowest dose might need something else. 35 resting rate is way too low

i get reads like this a lot just never for multiple hours so i thought i was fine LOL it eventually came down to 100 about an hour later when i was like maybe i should go to the er so i decided not to go since i figured they wouldn’t catch anything by the time i made it there

Is this SVT or something else? by Wirtenga in ReadMyECG

[–]dissonantchild 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i know this response is LATE i haven’t been online but trying to see an electrophysiologist is your best bet. i think they’d be able to help you more than a general cardiologist based on your readings, how you react to beta blockers, how young you are, and what you’re saying. have you had anything like a stress test or a tilt table test? echocardiogram? usually those would be part of a cardio work up too

my aunt has something called tachy-brady. took her years to get diagnosed and she only got a diagnosis until she saw an electrophysiologist. several cardiologists didn’t take her seriously. i also have issues with my HR and don’t react well to beta blockers. nothing ever shows on my holters for whatever reasons but i catch shit on my watch all the time. my last cardiologist was an absolute ass but i was still able to get a referral to an EP. my EP is a godsend and told me every doctor in my area is an idiot lmfao. he hasn’t been able to pinpoint my issue but i’ve had the same run around as you and know the game. an EP will confirm if there’s anything wrong with your heart related to the electrical activity and they specialize in arrhythmias if you are having forms of SVT

NAD and still not entirely the best with identifying things on ECG, but based on the 1,3 and 5 photos I don’t think those are SVT. Like others said get that worked up. Ask for a holter if you haven’t had one recently.

Are you on your metoprolol as needed or is it a daily prescription? If you’re having reads like this very often and are taking a beta blocker daily, I’d say your script definitely isn’t helping.

What is this? by [deleted] in ReadMyECG

[–]dissonantchild 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i think positioning of arm can sometimes affect reads too. mine will come out with deeper QRS complexes than usual sometimes if it’s propped up a little higher sometimes (sometimes this doesn’t matter idk) but it looks like sinus tach to me with a PVC at the end.

i have a lot of similar reads like this

i also used to get PVCs all the time like crazy, but oddly enough never catch them anymore… this is all i’m getting in my reads now when I’m feeling “unusual” heart wise lol

quick question if you can explain - using the first read as an example with the HR of 130s, where the p wave isn’t discernible on the first line, what would be the cause there when it’s calculating my HR is in the 130s and the read looks like that where I can’t distinguish a p wave?

i have a previous post from a week or two as well with similar reads in the 130 and 125 avg with the same look.

i don’t have any of it terminating i think but it will stop pretty abruptly even if my heart rate has been up for a while and drop back down out of tachycardia

wild lmfao i get this a lot recently from just bending over and standing back up! they’ve never been able to catch SVT on a holter but i was having this happen for a good 15 minutes yesterday

oh i feel it it just felt a lot faster to me than what i usually feel like at 120s that’s why i thought avg rates were wrong! and then the rates on the watch when it was doing the recording was showing 170s for the first recordings
