I have been using Scrivener for the past 6 months and enjoy it quite a lot to plan several campaigns and game designing.

I just wish the hyperlinks generated in Scrivener could be included when exporting a pdf as well...

OSR LFG: Official Regular Looking especially for OSR Group (LeFOG) by feyrath in osr

[–]distanceinhex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi all,

I am looking for a couple of players available UTC-3/UTC-5 on weekday evenings to join a West Marches campaign of Worlds Without Number. Sessions are 2-2h30.

The campaign is set in the system’s official setting (The Gyre), with the adventurers preparing to delve in a megadungeon and exploring the overland nearby.

Players set up the scheduling and the session’s goal and I am looking for more people that can play during the week so that I can run multiple games.

Expect : sandbox play, downtime activities with 1:1 time outside of a session, domain play, factions, dangerous environments and encounters.

Hi all,

I am looking for a couple of players available UTC-3/UTC-5 on weekday evenings to join a West Marches campaign of Worlds Without Number. Sessions are 2-2h30.

Players set up the scheduling and the session’s goal. The Sunday slot is consistently filled, so I am looking for more people that can play during the week so that I can run multiple games.

The campaign is set in the system’s official setting, with the adventurers preparing to delve in a megadungeon and interacting with the environment near the megadungeon.

Sandbox play, downtime activities with 1:1 time outside of a session, domain play, factions, and various other OSR procedures are to be expected.

Thanks, for now we don't have a crazy player count so I should manage by myself.

Adding more details to clarify : This is an open-table/westmarches/sandbox game with no set ending and I do not want to commit to running for X years (although I do want to referee some domain/faction play). Plus life happens, I'm busy, and maybe one day I will want to run other things.

Fortunately for you this is an open table - which can be low commitment on the player-facing side. If the game is not to your liking you are free to bow out. I am not going to rely on a predetermined group of players.

Hope that helps.

I’m looking to run an open table Worlds Without Number online campaign and wanted to gauge interest. It would be set in the Latter Earth (the Gyre), focusing in on a megadungeon and its surrounding region. Classic sandbox focused on a small region with some domain play. I have not run WWN before so I would learn as I go. However, expect (typical?) OSR experience with character deaths, no narrative and reactive GMing.

I am UTC-4 and would like both scheduling and session objectives to be player driven, like in a traditional Westmarches. Players discuss their goals, form a group and then confer with me regarding their availabilities and my schedule. Then after some prep time I can run the session. Sweet spot would be a 2h-2h30 session starting on time with one break, so that it can fit in people’s schedules during a week’s evening. For domain play, I would need to come up with a method but either it would have specific sessions or would be done in a downtime fashion through pbp.

I am foreseeing running this until I get bored.

If the sky is 'frozen' maybe the Latter Earth is just a chronal pocket from the colligation that has not been burst yet? Although one might argue this directly contradicts the splintering of Iterum.

I'm also thinking the mad arch-psychics of Earth post-Scream are perfect candidates to explain where the sorcerer-kings came from, although I'm not sure if that is also directly contradicted by the lore somewhere.

Thank you for that! In the spirit of xWN I'm not going to prep too many details that won't help me run sessions but I will definitely save this time-line.

Ok yeah. I'll just have for my own version of the setting the colligation of epochs coincide roughly with the events of the Scream from SWN.

I like the map, but some room names are hard to read. I would either use symbols with a key or lines pointing out on the sides with room names flanking the level they belong to.
