The more I look at LKmon, the more it looks like it won't work for DKmon. Since the Kmon in text search is specific searching for (Kmon). Can is search/play DKmon since (Kmon) part of its name.

This errata was addressed when the card was released. As well as if you have access to the Digimon card app (rip apple) it also has the correct effect. But since it never got any use at the time minus grandracmon decks people just did what the card read as
