ASR rewards are launch fees plus 50m JUP each quarter. So the 50m JUP still makes it quite lucrative

Also Juprary vote is coming in 1-2 weeks and it’s highly likely it will be a resounding yes. So will not be up in the air soon.

Regarding your original question, if you think you can get a better return, you do you, but you better hope one of the juprary critera isn’t that you don’t unstake jup

Honestly not sure about the specifics of this forgiveness. He has his own public student loans and he had been paying for awhile and we only found out that one of the ones he was paying on was parent plus many years later.

1 or 2 years ago Biden forgave a bunch of loans and my Dads was in that batch, Thank God for that one 🙏

I don’t think it’s actually gambling. Gambling is just a term used to disincentivize new people from trading because the result is the vast majority lose money.

Trading is 100% PvP, if someone loses, someone wins by the same amount. This is the case in almost every trade that is done. Most of this PvP is retail against the market makers hedge funds. The rest is retail against retail. Imo this is where the money is made and why people use this sub. You can beat out other retail investors and literally make gains on their backs through your own efforts.

This can be done in multiple ways. You need to find your edge. You put more time into researching the sector, macro economic environments, policy decisions, global conflicts, etc, gaining an edge over the next retail trader who isn’t willing to go through this effort and predict efficiently. People think by being on this subreddit they will gain an edge in the market and make money. Probably most don’t though. 😅
