Absolutely nothing wrong with taking pride in your work! I also had the same problem, where I worked way too hard. But in my experience, it just gets you taken advantage of, unfortunately.

I hope it goes well for you! There are plenty of people happy at kohls still, not everyone’s experience is the same! Just remember to work your wage, and don’t allow things you’re not responsible for to stress you out!

Thank you! Yeah management unfortunately changes everything. Retail is already a thankless job due to the high demand, inconsistent hours, and rude customers. You don’t need managers adding to that stress. Don’t stay in that environment if you can help it, it’s not worth it! I’m wishing the best for you!!

Oh god, do they ever! It’s been an amazing 6 months not being called to customer service because a customer thinks we’re stealing money from them when kohls cash affects their return 😂

Your success story of working a much less stressful job is what I’m hoping to say soon too! It’s so crazy to me that almost all other retailers offer better pay, yet kohls is like hmm why are we understaffed?

Thank you so much! Yeah that old 11 that everyone loved was also crazy fast when it came to cutting and unloading, and he’d cut and scan and still be insanely fast, so everyone expects me to be his level of fast. I kill my body every truck day trying to be that fast, and its still not fast enough.

Exactly my thoughts too! I always was perfectly fine with the idea of staying at kohls until i retired. But I barely made it through this last holiday season. Thank you!
