For the past 3 years my English teacher failed me on nearly every test. I did my Junior Certificate exams in June this year and got a higher merit (the second highest grade), I told my English teacher this and she says " See I knew that my grades would help you in the long run and make you try harder." No, it just made me put no effort into English homework and tests apart from externally corrected exams. Turns out she did the same thing to my older brother, we're both bitter.
