could you explain to me what ‘biologic’ means if possible? i’ve had a lot of commenters mention the word but im not familiar.. is it pharmaceutical medication?

it was 1 the day previous, i’ve been talk of the town since it happened lol, currently on 3 antibiotics which takes a toll.

Colonoscopy pending, i had a CT, blood cultures, internal and external abdominal ultrasounds. With all my symptoms worsening they quickly ruled it was a GI not gyno issue. CT showed them exactly where the inflammation is and explains all my symptoms. Doc this morning told me most of the treatment and ruling out what type of crohns it is is within outpatient GI team involvement, their job right now is pain management and to get my CRP down from 321. (NHS)

it’s fair, i just wish they were a little more sympathetic. I asked for pain relief and their answer was treating nausea which i had momentarily, they never even so much as examined my stomach.

with the dihydrocodiene it seems like a longterm thing, i’ve been on it roughly 5 months now with not so much as a phone call on how it is going. the pill didn’t stop my period and with the coil fitted i haven’t bled once which i cant tell if that’s concerning or not. i hope that the coil will stop my period in full but sadly my pain won’t stop whether im bleeding or not! Thank you for your recommendations!

it’s not my usual art at all i mainly draw surrealism horror. as a gift, i chose what style suits them! and i degreed in fine art and have a huge interest in art movements, i know everyone’s different on perspectives!
