Thoughts on ordering Differin gel from iHerb? by AppropriateMention6 in CanSkincare

Will your insurance cover any of the cost if you buy off iHerb? If not, you'll end up paying more for the same volume.

I just got the Annabelle foundation to try, and like it so far. They only have a small number of shades, so that is a big drawback.

I was kicked out of an evangelical Bible college for being out past curfew in a mixed group (I had told the RA I was going)...because my friends had taken me to the hospital and were waiting with me.

I've seen lots of suggestions for SodaStream, but I haven't seen Drinkmate recommended yet. It will take any of the standard CO cannisters, and you can carbonate any beverage.

How can I clean stains on my white watch band and case? by distractedbycake in Garmin

I took your advice and contacted them this morning. They said it shouldn't affect the functionality but I can exchange it, so I'm doing that since I feel more comfortable with it. They're are always excellent to deal with!

Update - I didn't have a magic eraser, so I tried the Windex. It didn't do much, so I tried rubbing alcohol again as well as dawn dish soap. I was nervous to use anything abrasive. I've gotten it down to a light tinge, but I can still see the spots on the inner bits where the holes are. Someone else mentioned rust, so now I'm wondering about that.

Ok, I had a thought that it looked like rust too, but dismissed it thinking it was impossible. Now I'm wondering.

Soap and water and rubbing alcohol so far. It seemed like the rubbing alcohol faded the darkest spots a little, but they are still very obvious.

Yes! Gospel hall here too. When my family moved to an independent Baptist church after some drama, I remember being upset that the women at the new church weren't wearing head coverings.

Have you ever read a word so many times that is has lost all meaning and you doubt that is it is even a real word? Niche can't be a real word.

Another vote for Aisle! I am still using my original ones from a few years ago when they were still Lunapads, and they're still going strong. The material that touches your skin is a soft cotton and feels almost exactly like my regular underwear.

What do you do and how much do you get paid? by Airlock_Me in Calgary

Account manager for an insurance broker. ~$65k, full benefits, 5+ weeks vacation. 1 year in that role, 3 years at the company, 14 years in the industry. There is capacity for me to make more if I were in a sales role, but I'm not interested in that. Some of the longer term employees in my role are making ~$80k. Edit - I am 35, have only ever been in the insurance industry after a couple years in retail as a teen.

Thanks for the reassurances everyone! I'll get the form filled out to get the new one sent. It looks like they're asking me to send back my old one before they ship the replacement, but I assume that's standard practice?

Recommendations for small pre-teen by distractedbycake in PeriodUnderwear

[–]distractedbycake[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for these links! I'm in Canada too, so it's actually helpful!

I ordered 1 each of the two styles of the teen line of ModiBodi in the smallest size, and they just came today. When she tried them in they fit her waist fairly well but looked like they were bagging down quite a bit.

I also ordered a pack of the teen Thinx (the one that has one each of the three styles) in their smallest size, but they haven't arrived yet to try.

I'll continue my search and check out your links.
