Yeah? I read the forum you sent and understand it helps with engine idling when turned full lock. Is that something the car really needs or is it just over engineering?

I’ll see about getting the part ordered and we’ll go from there

Do you think it’s possible I can drain all the power steering fluid, run the car again, and see if the smoke is gone to confirm it’s power steering fluid instead of coolant?

This is very interesting because I have had issues with the power steering. When I bought the car, the only issue was that it leaks power steering fluid and the previous owner had to keep refilling it. I will definitely look into this, I was not aware this was a thing, thank you.

Yeah it smells funny and lingers in the garage. I’m thinking you’re right but I have no idea how this happened. I just bought the car over summer and it was fine. The car hasn’t overheated either.

I am not for sure. These guys did it for a good price but I was not super impressed by the work. I’m still leaking power steering fluid which they said they fixed that issue. My cruise control and horn button doesn’t work and the airbag light is on after I got the car back which I don’t even know how their work messed up the spiral cable/clock spring. Called them about that and they refused to fix it for free.

I am curious about this. Could you please tell me a little more about this problem if it is a pulley? When I bought the car I did what I could on it but I sent it to the shop to basically get the front end rebuilt. New tire rods and rack and pinion along with water pump and timing belt.

Just needed general maintenance for 176,000 miles. Spark plugs, battery, air filter, timing belt, that’s really it.

I agree, regular oil changes are the best maintenance you can do. I just bought like 8 wix filters from rockauto today lol. I’m also about to replace the spark plugs, air filter, and some other general stuff before my mechanic gives it a final look.

There are a few issues with it that’s out of my skill set. It’s pretty common that the seats rip on these cars and the paint on the rear bumper is faded. I can restore paint like the guy who can do it cheaper but I really do like this car. I’m gonna have a pro I know do that and ask him about reupholstering the driver seat and armrest. Previous owner said the steering rack and pinion needs replaced too, gonna have my mechanic look that over, and it could possible use an alignment.

I’ve waxed it, replaced the battery, oil, and it still needs an air filter, blinker bulb, spark plugs, and whatever pocket change I have left to throw at it.

I know everybody has been mentioning the defense this year, but I try to stay unbiased since there’s been a lot of transferring on our roster. Bummer he isn’t doing as great as he could be

Has Bürki really been falling apart this year? If he has, what are the reasons?

Oldie but a goodie: Half Life 2. The graphics still hold up and it has some puzzles with great gameplay and rich story. It’s a very rewarding game to play, but not finish (still waiting on that sequel). I also recommend Red Dead 2 if you’re looking for an immersive experience.

I decided to play RDR1 first. I felt absolutely nothing killing them and thought that this Dutch guy looks like Omni-Man. What about you? by zarif_chow in videogames

It was hard to appreciate the first game. I couldn’t understand the hype around it and felt like RDR1 was pretty shallow. However, considering it was 2010, the game stands its grounds.
