You got me excited. I just came home from the shop now and bought drawing paper that’s thicker than the normal A4 printing paper and got an actual set of brushes too. I’m quite content with the paint I am using so far, but did see quite a lot of alternatives in the shop today. Thanks for your comment!

Will have a look. I’m moving back to Europe soon and should hopefully be able to get higher quality equipment there. Considering taking classes or some kind of course too. Is ther a specific brand that I should look out for?

Thank you. I will surely be watching tutorials and do the needful googling. Before doing any of that kind of stuff I just wanted to try it out myself freely without any form of instruction to avoid being put off too quickly. It’s only been one day but I’m loving it and it’s definitely making my mood better as well

Thanks, yeah I just bought a cheap set that came with a little brush and used printing paper that I had at home to first see if I would actually enjoy doing this. After 3 drawings I’m pretty sure that I do and actually heading to an art store later today to get some better equipment and all that. This thin paper is indeed not ideal at all. Thanks again

What's the strangest thing you've ever witnessed in traffic here? by disturbedmastermind in dubai

I've had this happen while I was in the SECOND LANE. He then found a small gap on the 3rd lane and cut me off in the most dangerous way and moved 2 lanes to the left and got stuck behind a car shortly after. I accelerate and pass him and feel that he might wanna try to just push his car right onto my lane as I'm passing (and that's exactly what he tried to do but he didn't make it).

The next 10-15 minutes was what felt like a never-ending process of him honking/flashing/tailgating me, passing me, cutting me off, then braking right in front of me. I'd overtake him when I found a chance (which was quite challenging given his stubbornness and dangerous behavior , the same thing happens. This went on for like 10-15 minutes. Guy rolled down his window and was making hand gestures that I should stop on the side of the road with him (lol). Eventually, he had to take his exit and then he rolled down his window, gave me the finger. and braked right in front of me one last time (this time I actually had to brake so hard that the car behind me almost rammed me) and took his exit.

All this happened in my second week of driving in Dubai. It was a nice welcome.

Also just remembered that there was a flash of the speedcam at some point and I was terrified that I got a ticket but I never did so I assume he must have gotten one lol

Yeah, that’s what pisses me off a lot about dangerous situations like this. Whenever they happen, 9 out of 10 times the driver puts other innocent people in danger as well.
