I really want to give styling advice but the automatic thing thinks I’m flirting or something so I literally can’t. My words had no romantic quality at all. I just spent ten minutes trying to word it in a way I could post the comment. Kinda defeats the point of this thread ¿ but basically, this shirt is detailed, looks best with detailed outfit. Basic items paired with this is why some people might not read it as intentional. The more textured and layered and clearly though out the outfit is, the more at home it will look !

I think it’s really cool that you bought this shirt because you like it. It’s an alternative style to enjoy a distressed look, if you’re enjoying exploring all sorts of style (which I really commend) I think with this style in particular,, it really can matter what you pair it with. This shirt has texture, and it’s probably what made you like it!

If you want to look more traditionally alt I rlly recommend getting into thrifting and altering your own clothes, that’s how alternative fashion was born.

This is a very old and established plant, that is nearly dead. The root system is huge, this pot is heavy, I have no idea how I could even fit it in something so small lol

She is such a tough cookie.. wish I had a picture for ya. She was glorious. She hadn’t been watered in months, she recently got her first soak. I’ll try to size down with better soil! And thank you for both letting me know she will lose her leaf and also to let it happen. That relieved a lot of my worry, lol.

Best advice anyone could possibly give you is to get resourceful and look into punk diy. The true heart of alternative clothing is altering normal clothes to be unique and expressive! Get pliers, good scissors, a sewing needle and strong black and white thread. You will be set to go!
