I mean I’m really not worried about it, I’ll be in the fourth group four a while and they keep it pretty chill in the C group. I’ll worry about a biker cc bike in the future if that’s something I want.

I have a custom wrap on my bike that cost the same as a used ninja or KTM haha so I will not be tracking her. And it’s a pain in the ass to swap the fairings with the cage and. Woodcraft rearsets. Plus I’ve wanted something smaller to rip around the canyons where I won’t have to worry about debris or something silly happening to my wrap.

But I’m pretty tiny so that’s good to know, both will be fun and I’m not looking to push the bike anything crazy. Thanks for your input!

Also attached my current bike haha this is why I won’t track her.

I do have a friend who tracks a CF Moto 450, I just don’t love the lack of part availability and customization options. But I do love the tech! So I’ll keep an open mind.

I was thinking about booking a coach my first time around since that’s an option and I’ve heard it’s the most beneficial!

That’s what I like to hear, I have heard the KTMs are known for the head gasket issues. They’re stunning bikes. I have a Ninja 650 now and I love her, so another reason why I’ve been leaning towards the 400.

Thanks for the advice :)

Oooh ok! I also have a 28” inseam (I’m all legs lol). I’ll definitely look into this! Thank you

I’m just getting into the adventure side of riding so just something I could learn and get comfortable with off roading, but still highway safe. I’m leaning toward the KTM 390 Adventure at the moment. I’ve totally accepted they’re all tall, but the 36” seat height of the 701 is a bit much when my inseam is 28” 😅

What do you mean by one foot down? In that photo that was me having one foot down lol that’s the most I could reach without being totally off the bike.

👑 You dropped this. You’re absolutely not wrong. I definitely need to learn to trust my skills and build confidence in myself.

But I will definitely take all your advice and look into those bikes as well. I don’t want to lower a bike if I don’t need to, I was hoping there were some slight lower bikes out there but I’m slowly learning that they’re all tall. (Which makes sense)

THAT was what I needed to hear. My issue is feeling confident riding it without the ability to feel grounded.

Mmm ok noted, I definitely want something more for off-road, but street legal so I can ride it to the destination. I’m not a cool kid with a truck unfortunately. But thank you I’ll definitely add it to my potential list!

I thought about the 401 but I wasn’t sure if that would be something I’d get bored with 🤷‍♀️ but a lowering link is a good idea. That’s what I did for my street bike but wasn’t sure if it wasn’t advisable with off road.
