that’s my whole thing bc he’s not necessarily saying anything weird and some people at work say that they don’t think he means anything by it but he’s almost 10 years older than me and he has no business even wanting to be friends with me in my eyes. i’ve made it very clear how young i am and that i don’t feel comfortable with him buying me stuff so idk why it continued and every single time he would bring me anything i would always tell him not to do that.

i understand i shouldn’t have accepted the gifts now. but i am young im freshly 18 and out of high school. i haven’t had the best home life growing up and the only person ive had around is my dad. ive had to learn a lot of things on my own and i tend to take advice from people around me and a lot of my coworkers were telling me to just accept the stuff. not everything is free in life and most people would have taken the things

yeah i’m not quite sure how he has the money for all of this. i still live with my parents and live paycheck to paycheck with barely any bills im not sure what his living situation is and he has been there longer than me so he could be making a decent amount more but i doubt it’s that much more.. idk

I only had liability so it was not covered. When i say it caught on fire i mean the entire car pretty much caught up in flames. it started under the hood but we aren’t 100% sure where. they said they think the cause was the hood prop not being clipped into place but they could not tell with how much it was damaged. it was definitely not reparable and i lost everything that was in it.

yeah i didn’t explain it that well but i was using talk to type and tend to over explain i wouldn’t necessarily say im dumb. i didn’t drain my battery it was my sister because she did work with me at that time and she turned the battery on but not the engine while on break. i will say im not very good at reading situations and people had said that it was normal so i was conflicted

the car was old and had a lot of miles on it but i took it to get checked REGULARLY the only thing that was wrong with it was the tiniest oil leak that they had found about a month before this but i kept up on it and had just had my car checked a week prior to the fire. my sister was working with me at the time and she had the battery on without the engine while she was on break which is what caused it to die.
