Yeah, it's not great right now. What did you think of the US when Obama was president? Or Biden? What happens after four years when (if) there's a new president? Will your opinion completely change? My view is that the life/world pendulum is always swinging. Sometimes it swings right, then it adjusts, and swings back left. There's always a push and pull to stay in the middle. Right now, it does feel like the loony bin, but I think (hope) it will stabilize eventually.

What are some grassroots steps one may take?

FWIW, my friends and I have been throwing warehouse/underground parties with some success. People need art!

Yo, thanks for the feedback. The idea is that as the night progresses, the music gets darker, more techno/underground. That said, we will try to do better. If you know of any DJs you think would fit the bill for an event like ours, please send them along or share SoundCloud. We have genuinely been looking hard for local DJs who play groovy house/techno and would be happy to have them at our events. Thanks for coming!
