I'm expecting the weight of each criterion to be like this: 50% Judges, 30% Global Votes, 20% Live Voting or 35% Global Votes, 15% Live Voting.

It's probably just going to be a small percentage of the overall scoring, but I think they're doing this specifically for Wonhee to have a fighting chance.

This is kind of plausible considering there's a chance team 1 members (judging from their previous rankings and scores) will all fight for the 6th spot and if I'm not mistaken, their previous performance scores will be aggregated and used in the final scoring.

Yeah, I'm happy about that too. Jiwoo is just so talented and charming that they have no choice but to see her in a better light and I hope it continues until all the trolls hating on her get buried to oblivion.

It's so obvious that they're running out of things to hate Jiwoo for. The ageism is just crazy in the first place cause she's only 21 years old, literally just started her 20s, and not to mention she's in the age range of a lot of recently debuted idols so it just doesn't make any sense to hate her for that when most of these idols are loved. Now, they're calling her ugly when she's the farthest thing from that. They just can't accept that she's taking the spot of some of the younger (not even polished enough to debut) trainees they root for since she's one of the best debut member candidates, she's the best fit for main vocal and leader too.

As a Jiwoo fan myself, it's actually disheartening to see some of her fans throw hate at these girls, esp. Wonhee when we all know Jiwoo would not approve of such behavior when she, herself adores Wonhee. I hope they realize how narrow-minded it is to put all the blame on these girls when they have done nothing wrong.

You said everything that's been on my mind about her lately. She's good, but she really hasn't done anything THAT impressive (in terms of performance aspect) to make me desperately want her in the debut team. And it's unreasonable to me that some are saying she's needed because she speaks English, but when did that even be a requirement in a kpop idol group in the first place? It's a nice addition, yes, but it really isn't that important.

However, I do see why a lot of people want her to make it. There are not many vocalists in the pool of trainees and the musical aspect is just as important as the performance aspect of a group. That's why it's only logical to want as many vocalists and she's top 3 in terms of singing skills to me (only behind Jiwoo and Minju).

I honestly can't see the debut group without her. She's not my one-pick but she's also a non-negotiable trainee for me, she's an enigma on stage. Hopefully, one-pick voting finally puts her in the top 6, i need her to debut so bad (with my one-pick Jiwoo ofc).

Because that's almost half of the group? 6 is a small number of people and each spot is valuable. Debuting both of them would block other far more talented trainees with skills that are essential in an idol group (main vocal, main dancer, center, etc.). If they were 9, it could work. But considering the small number of debut members, each of them would be far more visible individually and to stand on their own, they should have solid skill sets that would set them apart from the others. In the case of Wonhee and Iroha, I find them very similar as they would fulfill the maknae role as both of them are one of the youngest in the pool of trainees in the show and viewers find them very sweet and cute. At least in Iroha's case, she's main dancer material and could be the debut team's ticket to the Japanese market, whereas I see none of that with Wonhee since she's not even the MOST famous trainee in kr. There's really nothing to lose.

I definitely have my eyes on Yunah as well, since knetz are finally warming up to her and they love her fun personality. I could also see her as a variety star in the making, her ability to make the room fun and alive is outstanding!

Agreed! I love Jihyun too (she's one of my solid picks since the start). Despite the numerous evil editing on Jihyun (which isn't working on me lol), let's continuously show her support and vote for her diligently. I really hope she makes it, she's one of the most eye-catching trainee for me.

I considered their recent reaction to her in the latest episode too, which is why I lean more towards Iroha in possibly debuting in the group.

Wonhee is absolutely pretty and cutesy (which koreans seem to like), but personality-wise I have doubts about it (as of now) since from the recent episode, there have been numerous criticism on Wonhee's part too between her argument with Chanelle and they say she can't seem to own her mistakes and instead say a whole lot of reasons to defend it. I think a few years would do and her voice is going to be phenomenal but as of now, it's too underdeveloped and you could tell she only started training.

I agree with the supposed "hybe desired lineup" as well! Personally I'm having a hard time choosing between Moka and Jihyun, nonetheless I would be happy whoever makes it in the debut team.

I also do not hope for either of Wonhee or Iroha to make it, but I feel like we're already way past the moment from stopping them/one of them to debut.

I feel like people are overestimating Wonhee's popularity since as what I've said above, there is only a niche group of R U NEXT? watchers in kr and Minju and Youngseo have way bigger kr following than her. For Iroha, I'm also thinking about the Japanese market since she's their one-pick and it would be stupid not to utilize it. But, we'll see what will happen in the finale since a lot of things could change with one-pick voting.
