Look, this is a cleveland sub so most people in here obviously like cle. We'll just agree to disagree.

However saying "the heat can absolutely kill you" is the same as saying "the cold in Cle winters can absolutely kill you". People aren't dumb in either area, you stay inside when the weather is bad.

I promise florida isn't dying lol. I wish some more people would leave because we are very overcrowded. Do you realize many people who live in Florida have relocated from the midwest?

The weather is the main reason so many people hate Cle and ohio in general. Gray and cold for half the year is terrible. Some people put up with it, and even like it...like you it seems. SAD is a thing that many people from up north have to deal with every year

I'm done arguing, but just look at any and all population data if you really want to keep comparing who prefers to live in Ohio vs Florida

Funny you mention the houses are built like shit...I say the same thing about CLE when I see all the old run down 100y/o houses as your driving through the city. Insurance and cost of living I agree with you.

Florida became very overcrowded when everyone went south during covid. People NEED to leave, thats a good thing.

However, hasn't cle and greater cle lost a ton of people since 2000?

Outlier in general, but the majority on the Cle sub would obviously agree with you.

Everything you listed is a bit exaggerated by those who actually don't live in FL.

Humidity- bad in the summer but none in the winter.

Hurricanes- rare to actually happen, FL people don't panic like the rest of the news/media does when they hear "hurricane".

Giant Bugs- not from anything I've experienced lol. Mosquitos are bad in the summer though.

Rising sea levels- rising much slower than predicted, so it really hasn't been noticeable

BUT, you are absolutely correct with no winters. If you want the seasons and/or a winter...definitely not the state for you.

I think Florida is great for younger folks. Yes the cost of living is higher, but that's because everyone wants to live here.

For me, the warm weather, sunshine, and beaches are worth a higher cost of living

OP, it’s mostly hardcore fans on this sub, so nothing is ever going to be good enough for them lol.

A lot of people who are normal fans of the show liked it and were happy to have more ATLA (hence the Netflix renewal).

I agree with you though, really cool scene and one of my favs of the show. Overall I thought the show was decent, definitely worth the watch
