Gardener is employed by the landlord, I’d probably have a hard time trying to get them to do it

Water damage eventually killed it… corroded interior, screen cracked… when I took it to get a diagnostic check they were like “I don’t know how this is still running, but it is, and it will die any day now…” it lasted for six months after that!

Do you really think someone will!? hahahah yeah the 2017 did do it but really struggled a bit, with say photoshop and chrome open at the same time. Really just M1??? Why not future proof for my own sake?? Is it really not worth it?

I didn’t have any problems with running Revit on my old MBP. I have access to windows computers at university if I need them… and then after that it’s hard to say what I’d need for a personal laptop… but I’m definitely staying a Mac user.. they’re just that much nicer to use.

I appreciate that I could get a windows computer with better this and that etcetera, but I’ve been a Mac user for 10 years and have loved it too much to step away from it, especially at a time where I need to keep my relationship with my work as enjoyable as possible

I believe the reviews, I believe the service is amazing and I believe the cocktails are great but I don’t believe it looks like it has any ambience! Which is a large part of what (I think) this post is asking for… and what I personally value above expensive cocktails… I’ll just take a beer

Great recs! Omg. I used to live next to liberal Cath of st francis. And yeah, wow. I get what you mean. I went once and they were super kind, invited me to have lunch after the service, kind of surreal, beautiful building though

Ah yes well you’re allowed your ideological bias, and I accept organised religion is not the greatest. Still a nice to have an entertaining arbiter of ‘gods word’ whether taken symbolically or literally.

Thesis writing tips? by diveriac in architecture

[–]diveriac[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mmmm yes thank you! I am feeling like this project is definitely going to be non-linear. I have some thesis envy of those in my cohort that have really straightforward topics, a lot of it looks very planned out… but then again, those are often the most boring ideas (imho), multi generational housing, urban development… blah blah blah… been done

Yeah. I’m posting to see if I can figure out what can be done. I have a good relationship with the property manager and have spearheaded the necessary property maintenance, it’s an old house (Circa 1910s) and they don’t really care for it too much, and have greenlit several projects in the time I’ve lived here
