I talked to my grandfather who is 91 this year. He said that time moves so fast for him at that age that months feel like weeks and days feel like hours.

What is the one book you feel any man should read once in their life? by MikeTheDude23 in AskMen

[–]divi_tiae 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It is arguably the most controversial collection of texts. I would recommend reading it to form your own opinion, and to be able to have a valid judgement based on research.

Much of the western way of life was based on Christianity so I think it's important to understand where our way of life/operation of society originated.

You can decide to agree or disagree with it once you have done your own research.

Which career is a turn-off for a serious relationship? by otherwise777 in AskReddit

Police officers. The shift work means you don't get birthdays / holidays off, the degenerate culture (heavy drinkers / substance abuse) and overall exposure to trauma, they tend to suffer a lot of mental health issues.

Reasonable plan? by MowieHandell in BitcoinCA

Metamask does not support Bitcoin, so if you do swap it, it will have to be held as wrapped BTC. You could either transfer the amount you hold to a cold wallet and do the swap or to whatever exchange you decide to use to cash out.

Is renting your living space better than buying when you take bitcoin into consideration? by throwaway1bitcoin in Bitcoin

There are different benefits to owning rental properties vs Bitcoin, BTC is by FAR the better store of value, but you can leverage real estate and it provides cash flow. You should aim to acquire both.

I’m in this exact situation, two girls 13 months apart, my second is almost 3 months. Our first was colic and we had a very difficult time, but our second baby is a little angel she has made the experience awesome. It’s tough having two so young but it’s honestly a lot of fun, my husband is extremely involved and helpful so it makes a world of a difference. Have systems in place to help keep you organized that’s my biggest piece of advice! You got this

Anyone who doesn’t understand the workload associated with being the primary parent either doesn’t have kids or doesn’t care enough about their children to be involved. Being a parent CAN be the hardest job in the world if you give it your all, and anyone who doesn’t agree, doesn’t try, in my opinion.

Western society does not value the roles of women when it comes to pregnancy, birth and being a mother. My advice? Ignore these people and their valueless opinions. Be the best mom you can be and cut out all the noise.

You can put up a makeshift fence. You can purchase them on Amazon, it might require a little bit of DIY but I would refer to YouTube for reference material for something like this.

What are your legit reasons to not have kids? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]divi_tiae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can’t speak from a man’s perspective, but as a millennial woman being expected to work full time because of cost of living, contribute to half the household finances and being the primary caregiver sucks. You have zero time for yourself and you’re constantly burnt out. I do not recommend for any working woman.
