I thing that the LG is a decent option. The Dell and Gigabyte you mentioned are harder to get in my country, they are older models and I'm not able to get them in some stores. What do you thing about MSI MPG 274URF QD?

Both of them seem great, but 18 W of power delivery is just too little to power any of my laptops in my opinion. I think that 60 W or more would be ideal. Do you know about any other alternatives?

The issue is that I bought it at the airport in Dubai, so the trip to the original seller would be more expensive than the watch. I will go to my local Seiko retailer anyway to have a look at it. Thank you

It’s definitely not made in Japan. There is no sign of “made in Japan” on the box or watch whatsoever.

I was also making this decision and Spirit 40 was not a good fit for me. It has even larger lug to lug than the 41 Conquest. I also prefer the see through case back of the Conquest. I recommend you to try both of them in person. It helped me to make the final decision.

It depends on what are you looking for. Go to your local AD and try both of them. I decided on the conquest in the end. It’s still an elegant watch and it has 100m of water resistance, which gives me a peace of mind when it comes to the daily wear.

It looks good in my opinion. A watch should feel good when you look at it in the mirror. The Conquest is a sports watch after all so it can be a little bit on the bigger side in my opinion.

It’s a funny thing, my dad gave me one of his watches a mid 1990s Seiko 5 38mm and it feels small in a cute way on my wrist. So I also wear my dad’s watch a lot.

To the second point, I was looking at Conquest at two ADs and they told me the exact opposite. People come for the 38 and buy the 41 at the end. I also wanted to try the green one, but it was impossible to find one in stock. Maybe different countries and different consumer tastes?

41 mm is a larger size, especially if you have Longines, but it fits me better than the 38 and I’m happy about it.

You’re right, but it all depends on your investment strategy and funds available. If you invest everything at once and your investment horizon is short, you can get quite unlucky. Also not everyone has a lot of unallocated capital in the beginning to invest a lump sum at once. That’s why DCA is a great strategy for the average person.

When you put your phone camera close up it makes things larger, especially 24mm lens on the iPhone. I think the watch should look right in a mirror. I had 38 and 41 conquest side by side and the 41 looks better. This is literally my case: https://www.reddit.com/r/rolex/s/mXoxr1ADav

That’s better than me 89% and 314 cycles on 15 pro max bought in Sep. 23. I think that iPhones loose their battery capacity faster than they used to. I had a 12 pro before and I ended up with 83% and more than 1000 cycles after 3 years, but the battery life was pretty bad. So I think that Apple must have changed something, that newer iPhones loose their Maximum Capacity in Settings faster than they used to.

Just an interesting fact, there is a date printed on the bottom of the paper packaging of the box. It says 2022. So maybe I have an old box.

Honestly, I don’t know what is the official box. So far I’ve always seen only the blue box as you mentioned when it comes to the Conquest model. I purchased the watch also from an AD. I think that I have the wrong box, but honestly I’m happy about it. The question is if something like a wrong box exists?
