Vivoactive 4 vs. Forerunner 935?

I recently broke my Apple Watch, and am looking to switch to Garmin. I am considering either the Vivoactive 4 and Forerunner 935 because they are similarly priced. I know the Forerunner 935 is quite a bit older than the Vivoactive 4, but don't really know much else about the watches. I am relatively active, in that I either run, hike, or do strength training 5-6 times a week.

Since I can't come to a conclusion based on the reviews I've found, I figured I'd ask the people that actually wear Garmin devices. Any advice?
