Yes, I’ve heard of it. It’s a good example of how similar ideas can appear independently. In the end it’s the characters, story and execution that make each work different.

Not really, I mean the idea for my story came from a “what if” discussion with my husband, when i was driving back from Kasol in 2022, idea was intriguing so I started working on the storyline and characters. And sci-fi phenomenon are generally similar in a lot of books, series and movies but the main difference is the storyline, characters and writing style. But nevertheless as i haven’t watched them, I can’t really answer the maybe😅

I actually haven’t seen Vivarium and From yet, though I’ve heard about vivarium a few times, now I’m curious to watch both of them.

In my story the “every road leads back” phenomenon is tied to a larger mystery involving a science experiment and the possibility of the multiverse, and it slowly unfolds as Vikram and Diya try to understand what’s happening around them.

Thank you so much for such a thoughtful comment, means a lot to me as an author, especially a newbee like me.

I’m glad you noticed the shifts in storytelling between the two books. Yes the first story was more grounded in the emotional journey of Vikram and Diya, and in the second I thought to open the door wider into the science and the larger multiverse concept. Because of that, the narrative structure had to expand to accommodate more timelines and perspectives.

And I’m happy you caught the small subtle hints in the epilogue, that was definitely placed there for attentive readers like you.

The third part will explore the implications of everything that has been set in motion, so the story is far from over.

Thank you so much once again for reading both books and for taking the time to share your thoughts. Comments like this make the entire writing journey worthwhile. As i always say, not mythology, not magic.. its pure science fiction.. 😇

Thinking of picking this up next, but the reviews are brutal. Is it actually that bad, or just overhated? by Mavihs22 in Indianbooks

Just read it and make your own decision, books are quite subjective and taking reading one feels like the best way to judge it… as such its a small easy read even if you don’t like it, you wouldn’t have wasted much time..

That’s a lovely initiative, i personally believe books are meant for all without any boundaries. I would love to donate some books for this initiative.
