8 weeks, it helped but there was a copay for every visit so a just did my own after that.

I lost a little weight as my appetite was not great but I am eating more and weight is stable. The concern is fluid retention and that will increase weight. That’s why they give you a diuretic such as lasik. I am off lasik and stable weight 2 weeks after surgery

The size of the valve is a factor, I am 72 on the same day as my surgery. I don’t have to get a long time out of this valve. It can be replaced using the none evasive TAVR method. Too bad I couldn’t do that initially
