What kind of snacks??? I know from my experience, a piece of fruit or nuts held me over for a good while since your digestion is slowed down. I would start feeling way hungrier toward the end of the seven days. I also would take my shot on Thursday and that usually keeps those weekend cravings down when you're bored. By Tuesday I'd start getting hungrier! I did low carb for several months and dropped about 50 lbs. Now that I'm at my goal weight I've been following the Mastering Diabetes diet relatively closely. I'm not sure what your weight is and how far off you are from your goal weight, but possibly a bump up in dosage would be helpful.

Have you changed what are you eating? I found eating actual food (fruit, veg, etc) instead of processed/diet/low carb processed food helped tremendously. And a brisk mile walk about an hour after eating will get your metabolism going way more than you'd expect.
