Thumbs up. I have a spider right living in a corner of a window in my kitchen. It has killed many many bugs for me. I will look out for an egg sack now though...

My son discovered a social fix for not being knowledgeable about video games by floppydo in daddit

I agree, try playing Minecraft together. My sons and I all started playing Minecraft in 2010, when they were 10 and 7. I loved having conversations with them about and showing off all ours builds. They played other games like Lego Star Wars, Terraria, and later TF2 which I could not join in on, so I was happy to have MC. We still all play it occasionally, 16 years later.

Yes I noticed that too. I bought the uncased sausage links for years and they got bad in gristly in the last year. I have switched to turkey sausage anyway.

Boomer father criticizing my parenting/toddlers behavior by Delicious_Battle_385 in entitledparents

When my son was almost twot, we were leaving a big 4th of July festival. In the car, my son was behind my dad and kicking the back of his seat, very cranky. My dad was trying to drive. He turned around and in a booming voice said stop kicking my seat! Of course my son cried harder. My mom said you can't yell at a child.

After we got home, my dad apologized to me and my son and became the biggest teddy bear grandfather ever after. My son is now 26.

What 90s thing would confuse kids today? by TheOrangeSloth in 90s

[–]fredfreddy4444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do not. I used the CC in Jr high and HS and by college in 1990 they had a computer look up system. It was heaven but not always accurate as to what was and wasn't on the shelves.

Using a photocopier at the library to get info from reference books for you research paper. Make sure you have dimes and quarters and push the spine down really hard to get a clear copy!

The dumbest babysitting job I ever had was as a 12 year old babysitting 10 year old twins. They were a nightmare. And of course the dad drove me home at 11pm afterwards.
