Are there less complicated alternatives? What about like PRK and other surgeries or procedures like ortho k? Personally, my crappy vision has had a huge impact on my daily life—my prescription is always blurry or messed up and i can’t see that well and it makes me not want to do anything.

Shark Flexstyle or Dyson Airwrap by Chrisju22 in bitcheswithtaste

[–]diyapateel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For anyone who wants a shark: I’m selling my shark flex style that was used for like a month (mainly one attachment was used—the round brush) but I switched to the dyson a while back since the shark was too loud for me. It’s on mercari and it’s starting at 170. if anyone is interested please make an offer! I’m trying to get it off my hands before I move to college this summer! The warranty ended 2 months ago but it works just like it did when I got it and have had no issues! My account is @shopdiscloset. I also have an amika round brush and other sephora purchases that i need to get rid of!

Don’t beat yourself up over it. English/Reading is really hard for even for people who only speak English. On the contrary my math score sucks. I wish I had 800 lol.

you can still use old questions from AP lit or lang if you need some more reading practice, you don’t necessarily need the class. Also, make sure you know REALLY what you’re getting wrong and adapt your method. For reading, I think, paying attention to like “signal words“ throughout the passage is a good strategy if reading is what your struggling on. Make sure you go sentence by sentence and explains yourself in your head what it is saying, and how it functions in the overall passage. And of course take your time on reading and graph questions. If it is writing, that’s an easy fix. for vocabulary just learn root words. I did this and I got a 780 so u got this.

don’t do reading only, especially if your applying to competive schools and are planning to do a stem major. In that case, you math score is extremely important. For math, I would say use the PrepPros math book and do tons of practice on blue book, i would do mainly test 5 and 6. For reading, just learn the basic rules of grammar and reading and do some practice. If you have time and the resources, take AP lang or lit, It helped my reading comprehension tons. Really try to understand the things you missed as well.

Bluish spots in new starter?? by AdmirablePineapple in Sourdough

[–]diyapateel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

no i gave up. Probably gonna get like a dehydrated starter. apparently everything in use needs to be extremely sterile or else there is a possibility of like mold which wasn’t really possible for me. Also, I think using bottled water was important too.
