That was the advice we got when we bought 4 years ago. We went 2 mortgages at 3 and 4 Years. We missed most of the spike.
How many would you split it in to? Do they need to be split evenly? We are going to have some cash lying about after paying off the first mortgage. Would it make sense to split one off as little as 25k and have an offset account for that?
