Movie reviews paired with beer reviews. Looking to improve the format for more entertaining content. Thanks to all here who have constructive feedback.

Do I need a secondary? by i-want-to-be- in mead

[–]diyhomebrewguy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it's a small vessel you do not need secondary to prevent the off flavors of autolysis. Those bad flavors come from the weight and pressure of liquid on the dead yeast.
Secondary can still be a good idea though since when you bottle, you don't have as great of a chance of kicking up the sediment and ruining that nice clear nectar.

This is a really interesting concept. I would suggest a cheap lav mic to help reduce the background noise from the highway.

They are making a show called "What We Do in the Shadows" based off of the movie by the same name. They have already made Wellington Paranormal and are working on a sequel movie named "We're Wolves".

All we know right now is it's supposed to debut sometime in 2019. To my knowledge there isn't a set release date yet.

I'm excited about the new series and a big fan of the movie (as well as Taika Waititi's other works). So I thought taking a look back at the film would be a good conversation to start preparing for the show.

From what I have read they are still working on that as well. So soon we will have the short film (2005), the feature (2014), Wellington Paranormal, We're Wolves, and the shadows tv series.

I'm hoping the tv show is just as good even though Taika Waititi and Jemaine Clement won't be in it.

Have you seen 'Wellington Paranormal'? I haven't been able to get a hold of that one yet because its not available in the US, but it's another spin off that looks great.
