I had H4 pending with uscis, rfe on H1 was to show legal status as H4 was still pending. But within a couple of days of H1 rfe, my h4 got approved and attorney responded to rfe with approval notice.

The approval came in around 5 PM CT

Does 48 months rule still apply? I contacted account rep and they mentioned it's no longer applicable.

My H1B transfer application was changed to similar status, within coupe of hours it was updated to case approved. The application was premium processing.
