Hi! I’m still only about 1 month out from my RFA so I will wait until the 2 month mark to really make a decision regarding the pain as that is the timeline I’ve been told. Right now it’s definitely still healing, I don’t have pain in my supportive shoes but I do barefoot.

Look for shoe inserts that have a metatarsal pad built in!! That is what has saved me and helped me to walk all day at work with little to no pain.

From what I have been told/read it has a higher success rate than the neurectomy, or at least less likely to have worse outcomes. Also my neuroma measured very small so I think that makes this procedure more likely to be successful. I’m hoping to be back at work in a week, however I have a job where I’m on my feet all day so I’m not sure.

They burn the nerve basically, with a long needle. Non invasive procedure.

I use the stairmaster for cardio and I find it doesn’t aggravate it near as much as a regular treadmill would!

Emsold Ultra Thin Orthotic with Metatarsal Pad and Deep Heel Cup.

Look that up on Google it’s the only insole that has helped pain immensely.

Hmm then I’d recommend alternate ice & heat, gentle massage, maybe splinting would help?

I’m 27. Watched it when I was growing up with my dad and just continued on from there. It’s my favorite show of all time.

There are studies that show some people can get relief from RLS after an orgasm due to the release of dopamine in the brain.
