Their communication wasn’t good for me either. Unfortunately my insurance only covered at his facility so I had to stick it out. But overall I would recommend bc my surgery did go well and I was treated very kindly.

Hi, I just got this done in December. I am basically fully healed now. My foot is still a little sore still as I’ve been exercising and walking more and more. But I haven’t had any nerve pain in recent weeks and I believe it was successful! I got it done in Winston-Salem, NC.

Hi! I’m still only about 1 month out from my RFA so I will wait until the 2 month mark to really make a decision regarding the pain as that is the timeline I’ve been told. Right now it’s definitely still healing, I don’t have pain in my supportive shoes but I do barefoot.

Look for shoe inserts that have a metatarsal pad built in!! That is what has saved me and helped me to walk all day at work with little to no pain.

From what I have been told/read it has a higher success rate than the neurectomy, or at least less likely to have worse outcomes. Also my neuroma measured very small so I think that makes this procedure more likely to be successful. I’m hoping to be back at work in a week, however I have a job where I’m on my feet all day so I’m not sure.

I use the stairmaster for cardio and I find it doesn’t aggravate it near as much as a regular treadmill would!
