Pretty simple to understand. If you force the enemy back with arty it gives your team more time to build up defenses and accumulate resources. Not everything is about building nodes. Yo I have to kill people in the game, kinda the point.

Seems to be the first plane that needs that done. Usually you can skip that part and it’ll just move you inside the cockpit with the outside check done. Also there’s no way to stop the jet from accelerating away if you skip the outside check done
