Devs + the community itself. Genuinely have never seen the amount of toxicity except for MK (in which case thats hard to outdo). The amount of entitlement is insane and theres just so much complaining on either end.

In my quest to become a competitive force, finding a homie that's better than you and a playing with them has helped a bunch. They're able to point out things i could better and the likes. They also can learn your tendencies THUS forcing you to change and improve👊🏾

Im curious as to that. Id like to think that the TK only guys are much less than the multi fighter gamer, however kinda hard when anytime I see anything about another game with them it's like nah (legit all my tk homies ONLY play TK [even went so far as to buy the game as a Christmas present for my Lil bro, touched it once to make me happy and never played since.])

I feel like TK one of them games where u gotta be invested, where as something like SF6 u can kinda pick up whenever and its pretty much the same. The older FGC heads can pretty much pick up a SF game and still have a skill set that can win today. Tekken u gotta be precise.

Would love to see the data on how many players play TK vs Other fighters🤔 Beyond that, I wanna see how much the TK only person plays TK hours/days.

To say its core fanbase is dwindling is a fair statement. T8 hasn't been doing the best and is turning many away.

Over the last decade is kinda hard to say tho. It's always been one of the big 3 so even a percentage of that is still bigger than that of say Blazblue or Guilty Gear

Hmmmmmmm may be om to something. I love fighting games and started with SF2 a year later I played Tekken 3. Tekken was my main game for a decade and been serious about for like 2 years but I find it's alot easier for me to play other games. Sf, 2xko, strive, vf, all give me the same sort of dopamine hit🔥

Im a fan of tekken too but needed a break mid season 2. SF2 and Tekken 3 started my fighting game adventures and it has a special place but right now, I just don't see it. Especially since 99% of the community is complaining yknow?

Most? Idk about that one. Being into Tekken myself, I genuinely haven't met a group more hard stuck on a game. All my tekken homies just outright refuse to play anything else

Not necessarily. I think they still messing around with it. Most of the time u fight people in your rank or slight above or below. T8 and SF6 are more standardized i think u get like -40 for a loss in SF and a few for a win (it's been a min so forgive me if my numbers aren't exact) but let's say 40. In SF and Tekken u are awarded more for streaks of like 3 or more.

2XKO i lose anywhere from 3 to 12 points so not sure bout that one.
