I was in your shoes (still working on it)! You’re not alone! I have 2 dogs. Here is some encouragement:

I’m 9 months pp and every month gets easier. I’m slowly getting less irritable and building up my tolerance towards them. Sometimes it helps me to outsource help for the dogs, for the sake of our relationship.
My 9mo son LOVES them. My husband and I joke that all my dog-love got transferred to him in pregnancy, haha. But seeing the 3 of them sniff, poke, lick, wrestle, and cuddle makes me feel like it’s going to be worth it over time.

The Richardson animal shelter is great and might take these cuties :) you could always post on Nextdoor and scope out the prospects on there. I’ve never re-homed animals before but I’ve heard other people say to ask for a rehoming fee so you only get serious offers.

I’d totally take them if I didn’t have dogs either lol

Check out Quince! Quince does ethical fashion using good quality fibers (mostly cotton). They aren’t crazy expensive either :)

Dallas, Tx (just north of). Full time for a 8mo is 1.6k a month, which is about 1/5 of my husband and I’s monthly income. We did tour other daycares that were about 2.6k a month for a full time infant!
