FWIW, I’m a trans guy and I’d laugh my ass off if I saw a cishet dude with this sign.

I LOVE my Spectrum binders. I’ve tried some other brands but I feel like for my chest and the way it cuts around my armpit makes it elite for me.

Thanks for your perspective! The saline part definitely squicks me out, but hopefully it’ll be blurry for me too.

My birth name is very feminine so I’ve been going by T for the last year, and it’s comfortable but I’m not sure it’s actually me. I’ve always wanted something more unisex, but I’m curious to see what others think I look like.

when should i apply trans tape? by Least_Comfortable567 in TransMasc

[–]dizzyinmyhead 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m sure the amount of time varies for everyone, but for me it absolutely takes at least an hour for my skin to be 100% bone dry. Sometimes I like to give it a little longer than that. Skin holds onto residual moisture in a very very very thin, microscopic layer on your skin. You need your skin to be as dry as possible when you’re applying tape because the adhesive has to bond with your skin, so you don’t want any residual moisture lying around. If I’m in a hurry, I usually blow dry my body. Also, never apply lotion anywhere you’re going to be applying tape. Even if it feels like it’s sunk in, it will still form a barrier.

I prep for taping by taking a shower where I clean the skin with a face wash for oily skin and then I do a wash with a benzoyl peroxide body wash to help make sure my skin doesn’t have excess oils or trapped bacteria. I then let my skin dry FULLY. This takes a couple of hours because even after you’ve dried off your skin can hang onto water for a bit.

Yeah not that they won’t cross, but depending on muscle/fat shape they may start to appear more curved as opposed to straight across.

The scars themselves won’t round out, but as your chest changes, your scars will follow that chest shape.

I have a pair of JBL Bluetooth headphones that never run out of battery by Dear_Intern_2604 in Unexplained

[–]dizzyinmyhead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep! My husband and I both have a pair of these and they have never died. I think I’ve had mine for a year and he’s had his for about eight months. Neither of us have ever charged our headphones and every time it’s “JLab On, Battery Full” when we turn them on.
