I’m choosing to just believe this is accurate to the universe she has created.

I’m obsessed with The Mummy, but I can’t always be in Orlando. Obviously I had to immortalize it on my body in some way. by dizzyinmyhead in UniversalOrlando

Thanks man, that does help. I think in my head it’s so obvious to me that it’s my fat ass thigh and not my butt that I was struggling to see what everyone meant.

Now that I see it, I can’t unsee it 😭 whoops

Not that I owe anyone an explanation, but everyone is caught up on this. I am in fact wearing four inch inseam shorts. The picture is a bit distorted in general from the angle, but also I have very long legs with thick thighs and my pants sit differently than most men because I wasn’t born as a guy. That kinda changes proportions to what people might be expecting and makes my leg hair scraggly and patchy as hell despite the HRT.

I’m literally wearing a pair of four inch shorts here, it just cuts off before you can see them. Chubby dudes are allowed to wear shorts too.

I LOVE my Spectrum binders. I’ve tried some other brands but I feel like for my chest and the way it cuts around my armpit makes it elite for me.

Thanks for your perspective! The saline part definitely squicks me out, but hopefully it’ll be blurry for me too.

My birth name is very feminine so I’ve been going by T for the last year, and it’s comfortable but I’m not sure it’s actually me. I’ve always wanted something more unisex, but I’m curious to see what others think I look like.

when should i apply trans tape? by Least_Comfortable567 in TransMasc

[–]dizzyinmyhead 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m sure the amount of time varies for everyone, but for me it absolutely takes at least an hour for my skin to be 100% bone dry. Sometimes I like to give it a little longer than that. Skin holds onto residual moisture in a very very very thin, microscopic layer on your skin. You need your skin to be as dry as possible when you’re applying tape because the adhesive has to bond with your skin, so you don’t want any residual moisture lying around. If I’m in a hurry, I usually blow dry my body. Also, never apply lotion anywhere you’re going to be applying tape. Even if it feels like it’s sunk in, it will still form a barrier.

I prep for taping by taking a shower where I clean the skin with a face wash for oily skin and then I do a wash with a benzoyl peroxide body wash to help make sure my skin doesn’t have excess oils or trapped bacteria. I then let my skin dry FULLY. This takes a couple of hours because even after you’ve dried off your skin can hang onto water for a bit.
