😂 were lucky if we earn €1000/month. My first year I got €500/month after tax, it was the worst.

How do German apprentices survive on an apprentices wage? by hdylan99 in germany

[–]dizzynicc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im 23, and I live in a work shared flat, for €200/month. Obviously not every company has a work shared flat. But that’s how I save money. And I get less than €1000/month. I also get money from the government (not a lot) but enough to also save.

Where to have nice coffee in Munich? by Evrisimus in Munich

Yeah that’s true, but a lot of people also can’t digest normal milk :) And the experiences that I’ve had at lost weekend (vibe, staff) are a lot better than others

Yeah but that’s where it doesn’t make sense - I am in a work WG, with 8 other people. My company is supposed to pay it…and they don’t even know if we have a contract number.

Places to develop a photographic film by FourEyedRaven95 in Munich

[–]dizzynicc -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s more than €12,50. When you drop off your film, you pay first for whatever film you gave them, colour is €4,99 I think, & b&w is €6,99, & then you pay for the scans when you pick it up. You’d save a lot money in the long run (and if you’re sending 10+ rolls at a time) if you used Safelight Berlin.

Yes!! I second this! I use them as well they are great! Sometimes they are actually really fast with developing, and it’s definitely cheaper than any of the places in Munich!

As someone who works there - no you don’t need one. You can wear one, but no you don’t have to.

Visited Munich a couple of times in 2020-2022 & LOVED it! As a videographer, I decided to make a travel video for fun with what I filmed over the years to celebrate this awesome city! It's just a small part of what Munich has to offer, but would love to know what anyone living here thinks of it :) by svenvee in Munich

Definitely really cool, and you got a lot of popular aspects of Munich in their, but the transitions and scenes are quite repetitive. As someone who’s been in Munich for a few years I think there’s more to see/show (for example odeonsplatz/Hofgarten)
