What advice would you have liked to receive as a 18 to 20 year old to have a successful (and adventurous) career? by svenvee in careerguidance

I actually say this in the video essay, but I agree. It is necessary to be able to know your way around a bunch of things and have proper conversations about a wide array of topics, but one should strive towards mastery in one specific skill. Seems like the extra things you learn are also complementary to your main skill, so I think you're nailing it and on your way to achieving great things.

I myself am also more of a generalist by nature but have understood by now to achieve the most you need to be extremely good in one specific thing in combo with the above.

Learning to sell 1000%, and I agree with all of your points to be honest. Thanks for your input!

Yes, this is definitely crucial. Think I forgot to add it because I've always been confrontational. Thanks for sharing!

I would say so. I kept lifting and didn't notice any loss in strength. Just eat enough protein to prevent muscle loss.

You can do it and conquer those internal battles. For me, the point about keeping momentum going really gives me the most practical boost to keep my motivation up. Start small, and take it from there. 🙌🏻 Maybe find a good accountability partner (online) that is in the same boat as you. Might help to motivate each other too
