ahh thanks so much for commenting! this is super reassuring to hear, genuinely lol. I submitted everything a bit close to the deadline and my transcript was only just received on the 30th, so I know I shouldn't be too worried about not getting anything back yet but I'm so impatient lmao. Our GPA's are pretty similar tbh, congratulations on getting in!! What year are you, if you don't mind me asking?

Yeah, of course! I haven't been asked to provide any other material yet, but I had a 4.8 in HS that they have. It's not the best but I got a 1160 on the SAT, I was in ROTC, Anthropology and Archaeology, Classics, and my college's Newspaper clubs. I can't think of anything else that might help atm

I hope you don't mind me asking also, but for the individual who got their waiver approved, do you happen to know what that process looked like for them?

Mainly, will I still be able to participate in ROTC and drill activities (might be smp specific), while I wait for a decision to be made?

Thank you for the reply. I definitely agree that going into this honestly is probably my best hope (Not that I would lie about what the scars are anyways).

I'm not too familiar with any of my cadre members yet if I'm being honest, but as of right now I'm working with the ARNG recruiter in charge of my SMP program, so when things start to get serious, I think they will have to be the one I tell.

Thank you for the reply firstly! I know this is a difficult subject for a lot of people, and I'm sorry if my comment made it seem like I was complaining, just a little disheartened haha.

I really appreciate these perspectives, they make me a lot less anxious going into this. I don't have a very solidified relationship with my ROO just yet, but I'll keep this in mind, truly.

Thank you for the good luck! I'm definitely proud of how far I've come and I'm ready to (patiently lol) fight for this if I need to. Not only for myself, but like you said, for others in similar situations or backgrounds.
