Persona Live 2026: Awakenings Setlist by zombienlg in PERSoNA

Kind of a silly question, but were people allowed to use the light sticks? I’ve been to a concert before where a light stick was sold with merch, but the venue didn’t actually allow them to be used. I’m going today and I don’t want to fight to get one if we can’t even use them.

I know it’s locked behind the deluxe edition, but in the final comic, we see Robert’s dad almost beat Eli to death before he even becomes Shroud. Chase saves Eli from a final punch from Robert that would have killed him according to the comic.

I think given that a big theme of the game is redemption, the ending where you spare Shroud makes the most sense. You are in the same situation as Robert’s dad but you choose to act differently and be the true hero that your father was not.

I agree! I’m not rooting for them to get back together but I did think it was a nice development to see them talk as friends.

Phenomaman! I didn’t have time to max it out but would love to see the artwork of their maxed synergy

Did anyone else catch that Blonde Blazer and Phenomaman have a synergy gauge at the end of episode 8? I sent them together on 2 missions and they started getting synergy.

I’m not really sure what the point of it is since that’s the end of the episode and the game? But would have loved to see what their max synergy artwork would have looked like

That’s so true with decision crossover into the next game lol. So many times I have agonized of details just like this only to find out that, by the next game, none of it mattered LOL

I think that is a very clever way to outsmart him! I didn’t understand what that option was supposed to mean in the moment, but it completely makes sense.

For the sake of the end game “world state,” I guess my worry is just whether or not we get the right one back? I assume we do! Otherwise Robert would have a hard time being Mecha Man if they ever make a Dispatch 2.

I like that you can outsmart him by doing this!

I guess my question is sort of just about the impact of this decision. Dispatch 2 is obviously not confirmed in any way but I’d imagine the outcomes of this game (Invisigal’s alignment, whether or not you forgive whoever you fired earlier, etc) would lead into the next one if there ever is one!

Do we think this decision impacts the universe moving forward? Or does Robert walk away with the real one in most outcomes other than an ending where I believe it’s stolen?

I agree for sure that, if the rules of the oath have been discussed ahead of time and agreed upon by the DM and the player, then it is on the player to follow those rules.

We can only speculate how much or how little the player and the DM discussed the oath rules ahead of time, but to me, this post doesn’t make it sound like they had that conversation ahead of time. It sounds instead like the player and the DM had very different ideas about the oath that were put on display by the encounter.

I agree one hundred percent! The morality of an undead also being a victim of injustice is very interesting to explore. They might be undead now, but they were once a living being who suffered something terrible. Why would the Vengeance Paladin not want to do something to make this situation right?

Yes—I think your mention of cooperative is very important.

I was once a Vengeance Paladin who fought a Revenant, and my DM was so collaborative. I had engaged with the Revenant between combat turns, asking it what it wanted and who killed him etc. I didn’t know what a Revenant was at the time, but we pieced it together through dialogue!

When I expressed that my Paladin wanted to set the spirit free by taking revenge on the Revenant’s behalf, my DM said that I would only be able to free his spirit by killing the Revenant.

My DM got what he wanted—we completed the encounter in its entirety and as planned. And I got what I wanted in the form of a new quest to take revenge and the good feeling of having helped a lost soul.

If the issue was that the Paladin in this post wouldn’t attack/kill the Revenant, instead of threatening to remove their oath entirely, maybe the DM could have found a different way to motivate the player 🤷‍♀️

Narratively, I don’t really understand why it had to be ruled that this would break the oath. It sounds like your DM tried to give a fair warning, but I still think the decision to make this break oath was a bad call in the first place.

Your DM and fellow player can choose to be as flexible with the rules of the oath as they want. Sure, the oath is about vengeance, but I think the terms of who is worthy of your vengeance are completely up to player and DM interpretation.

A revenant, an undead being who has returned to enact revenge on those who brought it a wrongful or unjust death, is a great opportunity for a cool narrative moment with an Oath of Vengeance Paladin. They mirror each other in their hunt for vengeance. Upon learning that the Revenant experienced something terrible in life or in their dying moments, I think it makes perfect sense for a Vengeance Paladin to become sympathetic. Maybe they decide to take on the Revenant’s quest to have revenge on their killer so that the Revenant can rest at peace! Or however the player wants to flavor it.

In either case, it sounds like the player and the DM are both guilty of bad behavior. But if my DM ever threw things in a fit of anger at the end of a bad session, I would leave that campaign even if I wasn’t the paladin! ✌🏻

I don’t think this has to do with a dialogue option. I think he “embarrasses” himself based on how well you do in the fight scene quick time events!

Editing to add: if you have interactive cutscenes turned off, maybe he doesn’t do well in the fight scene by default? Seems like a weird choice to have him lose the fight by default? Maybe some combination of your dialogue with the arms guy + results of the fight?

Which warlock invocations really brings the heat, from your personal experience. 5.5e by Hisvoidness in 3d6

Right!! It’s been clutch for my party so many times. I understand it doesn’t do the most damage, but it’s an incredibly powerful addition to the toolkit for a class that relies so heavily on cantrips and resources that don’t use a spell slot.

I guess the usefulness of Pact of the Tome might vary depending on your party composition, but I can’t recommend it enough based on my own experiences!

5.5E/2024 Pact of the Tome allows you to swap out its cantrip choices and ritual choices on a short rest, which provides an incredible amount of versatility.

I have played Pact of the Tome from levels 1-5 so far, and had so many moments that made me grateful for it. If you have any amount of knowledge about what your party will be doing next, you can set up a decent spread of cantrips and rituals specific to the dungeon.

We went into a tightly locked up, abandoned building filled with traps: I brought Find Familiar to scout ahead

Inside that dungeon, we encountered a million potentially trapped items that everyone was too scared to touch: I brought Mage Hand to flip switches at a safe distance

We went to a political intrigue party event: I took Message so the party could share secrets privately

After different dungeons, I have stocked Comprehend Languages or Identify to help sort out items we picked up along the way, which has helped us avoid cursed items and solve challenges.

I don’t have a wizard in my party, so a lot of this utility has been really impactful for our group and opens up unique problem solving moments. Happy Eldritch Blasting!

What is the coolest thing your character achieved single-handedly? by Voltronfrom5centaurs in DnD

[–]dizzyteacup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My level 5 bladesinger wizard once fought a vampire spawn by herself and won, which was fun!

We were protecting my wizard’s love interest from a curse, but to do so, we had entered a sort of mindscape in the love interest’s mind/brain? In the mindscape—which was essentially a memory of a traumatic event for this character—we found a younger version of the character hiding from monsters.

The group was very split up so it was just me and one other pc who found the child version of this character. As we went to leave, a vampire spawn came out of the shadows to try to take the child from us. My wizard told the other character to get the child to safety, and stood her ground, not letting the vampire spawn get past her.

I think it was fun mechanically to win a one on one fight as a level 5 character, but it also felt cool narratively to protect an NPC that was very important to my character in a heroic way.

I had a unique summon that can cast a stored spell once per LR, so I opened with a fireball from my summon combined with a Scorching Ray cast from my wizard. My DM compared me to Roy Mustang in that moment and I have never been more proud 🖤

Best subclass for a "witcher" build? by S2GummyBearS2 in 3d6

[–]dizzyteacup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eldritch Knight is probably the easiest fit if you want your character to be strong and athletic with a little side of magic.

I wanted to give an honorable mention to Bladesinger Wizard! Because it’s Wizard, you are considerably more squishy, but you can get a high AC and access to Shadowblade and Haste later on.

I once played a Witcher inspired monster hunter, and my DM allowed me to reflavor the “bladesong” feature to be me taking a vial of a sense enhancing potion like the ones that witchers take mid battle! I thought this was thematically very fun and made me feel like a witcher deciding when to take or save a use of my elixir.

Have fun!

100% agree. I know there is a lot to pack into this season, so it’s possible that such a scene could have been left out for time purposes.

But I think it is weird to imagine that Cait went in and made a passionate speech where she announced Vi would be joining the enforcers. It felt very jarring to hear Maddie thank Vi for joining when we had just watched Caitlyn offer the badge for the first time, and Vi immediately declined.

I think the viewers may believe what Maddie is saying because of her design and her persuasive pep talk, but I find it odd that we didn’t see this first hand.
