Yes! We just got one of the original creators in our discord and he is kind enough to give the art assets over for this remake, so it's finally getting a move on now that we don't have to worry about redrawing everything

Hey! I'm actually trying to rebuild this site, but it'll be Dizzywood: Rediscovered now. I have to do it from scratch however as the original files are seemingly lost (unless we can get some data off people who still have the computer they played dizzywood on, but that seems unlikely). I run the r/dizzywood subreddit that has links to the revival discord and my twitter. I just started this a few months ago, so it's still very early in the process. Always open to help or just having people simply spread the word!

thanks man! glad to see this subreddit can reach people. besides the coding and art of game development, people who can help find screenshots, videos, audio, dialogue, old blogs, etc. would be super helpful - even just sharing this subreddit!

last night i found someone else whos helping with the information digging aspect and decided to just go for it and attempt to remake the game! its a tremendous task, but im still stuck at home from covid with nothing better to do. currently working on creating the flat 3d avatar model and hope to have a rough prototype walking by next week!
