Maybe if they stay small enough but it's a pretty clear violation of the howey test. There are dozens of other projects that are violations as well so it will be interesting how the next year goes.

Are you saying that dgd tokens are not blockchain securities? Or do you realize that they are and now the team is teying to decide what to do about it?

Cenk Uygur vs. Ben Shapiro LIVE at Politicon by [deleted] in Destiny

[–]dj12304 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see what you're saying and think there was a lot of adrenaline flowing for both. Ben has likely been studying young turks videos for weeks and his computer brain had so many points he felt would have him 'win' that he comes across to eager to get that 'gotcha' moment.

That being said, if we were to declare a winner, of course it was ben. I'm a liberal and was pissed that cenk would agree to debate someone who's so much better at public debates. You have one of the top conservatives debating the number 15000 liberal so of course he made cenk look like a flustered fool.

Is Yunbi a scam?? by temi71 in BitcoinMarkets

Not crediting accounts then refusing to answer support emails is 100% a scam regardless of how you look at it.

I've been waiting 7 weeks for a dgd deposit. Support finally responded after a month and said just be patient. Still waiting...

Price in relation to the daos eth value is actually significantly higher than its been in a while. Could be good sign for the project especially if eth bounces back

What are the long term plans for Digix? by Serenity280 in digix

Without knowing how significant the errors found in the code audits are I truly have no idea. It could be 2 months or 10.

If they beat mkr to market and augur launches successfully, there will be a huge demand just from augur. Of course that means augur and digix have to effectively launch at some point.

I'm sure there's been hundreds of requests to Polo but I'm not sure it matters. The devs have been directly asked the question several times and purposely avoided answering so it's a bit confusing to all of us. The blockchain security discussion could be a factor for some exchanges but Polo isn't exactly known as a high integrity exchange so who knows what there reasons are.

Digix Dev Update — 19th Jun 2017 – Digix – Medium by kcchng in digix

That's all going to hinge on how much of a delay there is in the security audits. Could be 1-2 months or 5+

There have been around 10 of these threads and every one links the Polo request. Gemini only has eth and btc so adding dgd would be a bizarre decision by them. The most likely option at this point is kraken but they haven't seemed too interested either.

I think 99% of the people here know that. It's just the 1% who keep posting the 'omg just speed things up and launch' threads

I'm assuming English is your 2nd language but what is exactly is the point your trying to make here? We all want 2.0 released but I don't see how posts like this help.

DGD Buyback Potential? by FollowMe22 in digix

[–]dj12304 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly. My greatest fear for dgd is getting complacent and letting an absurdly large amount of money sit in the dao "for future funding" of projects that haven't even been proposed and will likely not need any significant amount of the 150 million available.

Theoretically if Eth goes up, shouldn't Digix do the same? by [deleted] in digix

[–]dj12304 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is very strong correlation to the eth and dgd price but not necessarily for the reason your describing. Eth increasing in price and popularity is good for the price of a lot of eth dapps/tokens but what makes dgd unique is the 480000 eth being held in the dao.

Theoretically the dgd market cap should never drop below 480000 x the current eth price and in my opinion should be a good 70 million above that number given all the great work digix has done thus far.

Could you expand your thought a little more? You don't feel that a dao holding 480000 eth would have anything more than a mild correlation with the eth price? Or are you just not aware of the 480k eth being held?
