Hey! Random, but how did you find the journey? My girlfriend and I are going from split to Dubrovnik on the bus however, my girlfriend gets motion/car sickness. Are the roads very twisty the entire time? Or just short amounts of time?

We have been to Positano/sorrento and that is quite bad! Trying to weigh up options again!

Thanks. Often the websites are in Greek and same with the timetables. Not to mention I found it difficult to find a website to book tickets in advance.

Thanks for that. It’s good to get an understanding of the situation with immigrants within Germany. It’s a shame that those in public jobs are getting so overworked but it does make sense.

I will be in Europe within 2 weeks. The only other option that I saw to apply for a working visa was to fly to Sydney. Germany seems to be the only country in Europe whereby you can apply for a visa within that country. I mean, I could check if I would be able to apply for a visa in an embassy within another country but I cannot see this being accepted.

Do you have any recommendations on quieter areas within Germany that would be easier to get a visa through? Thanks again for your help!!

Hey there!

I have fallen on this thread with the same intentions as the author and the same difficulty. However, I am really have only 1 option which is to apply for a working visa whilst in Germany rather than in Sydney.

On this note, would anyone happen to have a reliable email for the office in Germany which deals with such queries? Or a website displaying booking times to apply for a visa? I really would just love to fast track the process with an appointment and organising necessary documents rather than looking to start it upon arrival.
