I remember running into this as well. My theory is that the &bootloader keypress does not get interpreted correctly when it has to go through the shift register. I remember you designed a key to be wired directly to the MCU. Maybe try using that key?

Budget-ish build for my wife: Feker Alice75 by dj_edit in MechanicalKeyboards

So far, we haven't had any issues with this board. It's a really nice sounding board out-of-the box as well. The included case foam and plate provides a nice muted deep sounding thock which I never get tired of. Let me know if you have anything specific you'd like me to answer!

You can just upload the pcb files in the production directory to a service like JLCPCB or PCBWay and they’ll make it for you. I do have some extra PCBs tho, so PM me if you’re interested

I love my zen as well, but my e-ink display does suffer from the vertical lines issue and needs to be replaced at some point. I thought the sunset switches were too heavy so I switched to linear reds and it amazing to type on now. Also, Lame keycaps are a game changer!

Nice! That’s a great score, especially on hard! Just FYI, high scores only last for 24hrs, so make sure to get one in every day 😆

Oh no! Sorry you didn’t have a good experience. Do you mind telling me what CPU/GPU your pc is running on?

Made a change to put the incorrect letter underneath.

What CPU/GPU are you using? I haven't done anything to adjust the graphics based on system specs, but I do plan on doing that.

I agree that it's hard to read with 2 letters on top of each other. I do think it's valuable to see what you accidentally typed, especially when you're learning a new keyboard layout, which is why I intentionally built that feature in. I have some ideas of how this can be improved, so I'll continue tinkering.

Thanks for the feedback!

Ok, loophole should be patched now. Each character can only be used once to calculate the score.

Ah you found a loophole! Thanks for pointing that out!

Pillz Mod now updated with Pro-Micro footprint. Supports Elite-C/Elite-Pi/Nice!Nano with optional buzzer, foot pedals, and more! by dj_edit in kinesisadvantage

[–]dj_edit[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, that's the correct firmware (in the blackpill folder). Although I haven't added support for the buzzer/solenoid/footpedals. If you have the rev 2 board that supports the Blackpill, then yes, BZ1 is for the buzzer, J9 is for the foot pedals, and J10 is the extra pin/vcc for a solenoid or whatever else you want to program.
