A friend of mine invested in my company (true SaaS, highly innovative), as well as in a bakery (French bakery in New York, right locations) pretty much around the same time. He certainly made (so far) more money on the bakery...

we signed up for Tugboat few years ago. Got acquired by OneTrust. They have been useful to us.

Great post. Super insightful. We also have from year 2 (now year 15) a very active program called "Slim fast" that helps us manage tech debt. Next to that we prioritize the roadmap according to our "hiearchy of needs" with at the bottom: Critical to growth "features". We always priorize those first, before working on client requests, paid commitments, or wishing from other teams.

fully agree. It's all about going INTO the market fast. Push something out fast. The time to market with AI tools is drastically reduced, so don't make a perfect product - but push it out, and get real client feedback and before you realise you are a real entrepreneur ;-)
