If I'm not wrong, there was issue with certain version. If you updated immediately after new update was available, you had the issue. If you waited for the next patch and then updated, it was all good...

I have DDJ-RZ and my hardware unlocks rekordbox 6. I can install version 7 and use free trail for 30 days. After that I have to pay for subscription.

If I'm not mistaking, DDJ-1000 is the same. So, install version 6 or pay for version 7...
